Yankee fans are used to winning. Losing is not acceptable like it may be to some of your teams. Losing is not allowed, we will do whatever it takes to win year after year. That's how we do it. If you don't like it, f**k it, go lose some more.

Anyone who makes a post like this must already be used to being a loser.

You don't make any sense bro. Nice try. Now go hate on a team that doesn't have 26 championships....loser.

Anyone can root for a team that spends a zillion dollars and cant help but be near the top. You keep rooting for your Yanks. I, however, will keep rooting for the team that I grew up with. I wont be a bandwagon fan like I'm sure you are. Giants, Warriors, Niners... even though in live in LA now. Painful yes.. but I will always stick with my teams.

If someone makes a comment about the inequities of baseball your comeback is... if you dont like it.. fk it.. Try being a bit more articulate. At least some of the other Yankee posters can make an argument in a somewhat intelligent manner.

I'm from Jersey, I ain't no f**king bandwagon fan. Born and raised a Yankee fan. Don't tell me I'm a bandwagon fan. Yankee fans have the right to be cocky....26 CHAMPIONSHIPS! I feel like we can make the World Series every damn year and this coming season, we'll have 27. Get used to it buddy. Yankee baseball!

LOL... I should have known. You do have that East Coast obnoxious thing going.
Well.. good luck to your Yankees. Perhaps they all their high priced superstars wont gag again this year.

We needed pitching and we took care of it cause we have the money. Teams wanna bash the Yankees for doing all their FA signing in one season. This is the year for pitchers in FA, might as well sign them while you can. Next season, the Yanks won't be going after any pitching. We got our pitching, we got our bats, we've got the best bullpen in the league, how can we lose?

its funny how you are saying that because just now in LA the angels are offering teixera a deal just as much as the yankees gave CC and no one is saying anything about that.

Go Yankees
Start spreading the news, Im leaving today
I want to be a part of it - new york, new york
These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it - new york, new york

I wanna wake up in a city, that doesnt sleep
And find Im king of the hill - top of the heap

These little town blues, are melting away
Ill make a brand new start of it - in old new york
If I can make it there, Ill make it anywhere
Its up to you - new york, new york

New york, new york
I want to wake up in a city, that never sleeps
And find Im a number one top of the list, king of the hill
A number one

These little town blues, are melting away
Im gonna make a brand new start of it - in old new york
And if I can make it there, Im gonna make it anywhere

It up to you - new york new york

Well, I give you credit for not being a bandwagon fan, but how does it feel to know that several of those 26 championships you are bragging about came largely in part due to a player the Yankees got from Boston?
I seriously doubt they would have some of those titles if it were not due to the babe!!

How is it better knowing that they had to buy a player from their biggest rival just to win a title?

cause it will haunt boston forever and we can heckle their fans on what a dumb move it was on their part.
Yanks Turn Attention To Pettitte, Manny

MLB.com - The Yankees officially signed CC Sabathia and A.J. Burnett on Thursday, but they aren't done with their offseason shopping.

New York general manager Brian Cashman has reportedly turned his attention to free agents Andy Pettitte and Manny Ramirez.

"We just have to see about the amount we want to spend," co-owner Hank Steinbrenner said of Ramirez. "No doubt he's a great, great ballplayer. He's one of the most dangerous offensive players in the game."

The Yankees have more than $80 million in salary coming off the books this offseason.

Said Cashman: "You can't stop swinging for the fences."

Pettitte's Return To Yankees 'Inevitable'

MLB.com - Andy Pettitte's return to the Yankees now appears to be "inevitable" as the two sides work out a monetary figure on a new contract.

Pettitte wants to pitch in the new Yankee Stadium, while the team would like to have him in their rotation this coming season.

Citing "a source with knowledge of the pitcher's intentions," FOX Sports has reported that it was "virtually inevitable" that the two sides would eventually finalize a one-year agreement.

"Andy's a free agent, and the one thing I've been consistent in saying is that we'd like to have Andy back," Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said this week. "I know he'd like to come back. That's set up for maybe a positive end result. It doesn't guarantee it."

We're talking about a 5th man in the rotation. Pettitte would be awesome.
Manny Telling Friends Yankees Will Offer 3-Year Deal

Yahoo! - Free agent outfielder Manny Ramirez has reportedly been telling close friends that the Yankees are prepared to offer him a three-year contract.

Most teams are only willing to give Ramirez a two-year deal, but Ramirez believes New York will give him a third year.

Ramirez doesn't intend to receive serious offers from any team until Mark Teixeira, a fellow Scott Boras client, is off the market.

Yankees Now A 'Serious Player' For Teixeira?

New York Post - With the Red Sox wavering in their pursuit of free-agent first baseman Mark Teixeira, the rival Yankees have reportedly become serious players in the race.

The Yankees, according to multiple baseball sources, have had serious conversations with agent Scott Boras and will continue those talks.

They have yet to put their best offer on the table.
