I think many of us are expecting him to released. If the team is going to release, I expect it to be soon. Releasing him early will improve his chances of getting a decent contract.

i agree but only if, as you say, he takes a pay cut. if i were him i would want to stay on a winning team , knowing i would get some playing time. the rest of your thoughts are good thoughts. I am cautiously hopefull of the two kids we drafted and of course we will draft at least one outside linebacker. we can not trot out the same"depth" in that area this coming year that we had this past year

we could use the depth and I think he can start on a handful of other teams. we should keep him bc he's good against the run and we lack depth at olb.

i would assume if we are to cut people like him and ginn it will be done this weekend?? i see alot of players getting the ax today

Ginn is already a free agent, but yes, any cuts/releases should happen this weekend and up until Monday afternoon.

Ginn is a free agent. We do not have to cut him.

I think you misread the post. We would save 3,950,00 by cutting Manningham.
