Yup, gotta admit Bowman has been making more plays than Willis lately.

Uh...it has alot more to do with SCHEME. Willis is called on much more often in coverage. Bowman is called on to play closer to the LOS more often and blitzes more often.

Not trashing Bowman because he's awesome, but there is a reason Willis is making fewer tackles.
of of the things you could concern yourself with on our team,, bowman and willis are not one or two of them in my opinion
Attention whore or new to football?

Guys, I think he is talking about the rotation of our d-line more than complaining that we run a 3-4. The fact that we rarely rotate out our 3 defensive linemen during a game is a legitimate concern.

He said Pat Willis was overrated.

This forum, it gets better every day!
Because our main three D-Lineman are in great shape and rarely take breaks ....the credit for this should go to the Niners strength & conditioning coach

but you will see a bit more of our reserve D-Lineman to keep our 3 Amigos fresh for the playoffs

is the 3-4 defense a new concept to you?

and moss should have been called for a pass interference,, it works both ways. you guys just said the refs are our biggest problem and our only weakness. that is laughable
Sigh. So you misinterpret what was meant, and then find your misinterpretation amusing.

It was initially essentially said that BS bad calls by refs are the biggest weakness.

As in, they are the one problem that is most difficult--or even impossible--to correct and overcome, because they are out of the team's control.

So its the hyperbolic "only weakness," because other problems can be addressed and corrected.

Get it now?

Feel free to ignore any bad calls against the Niners if you want.

I don't like watching lousy calls in any game, against any team. But the ones against the Niners are particularly disgusting. IMHO.

Perhaps that's laughable to you, but I find it difficult to be amused by bad calls against the Niners.

Huh? Patrick Willis is a weakness on defense?

Totally agree....that's why the comment of the OP is ludicrous.

Accolades....Willis has earned everything he's received, now in his 6th season. Bowman was voted first team all pro in his first year as a starter. Did you expect Bowman to make it sitting on the bench in 2010?? At the rate Bowman is going he will get plenty of accolades but he is only in his 2nd year as a starter

This!!!

Absolutely drives me crazy.

I really think the Minnesota loss was due to bad calls. A PI call on Goldson gave them their first TD.

Even in the last Rams game, they called Goldson for a helmet to helmet hit on QB Bradford when Bradford slid, but the replay showed NO helmet to helmet hit, and showed that Goldson actually pulled off a bit. Some of those "holding" calls were questionable as well--altho some were not.

Yah dude, so much bad calls and no calls against us lately it seems we gotta beat the refs and opposing team too. What bugged me the most this year was not one single holding call was called against the Giants when we played them and they held Aldon and Justin all day,

Yah, I've got no problem with the fact that the team is gonna get penalties called against them at times.

All I ask for is an even playing field. Call the game the same both ways.

I'm with you on that, I know we are gonna get penalized its inevitable but call the game right. They should've picked up that flag on that Goldson hit to Bradford sliding. They should've picked up the flag on the Kaepernick grounding. They didn't call the Rams O-line when Aldon Smith was pulled to the ground. Crooked officials are like UFO's, we know they exist we just need confirmation.

Um hello! Who was that SLOW Tight end on the Lambs who beat Willis for the 2pt conversion?? Hello!
