Come on a JIM, that is some nOOb sh*t right there. The O-Line was the problem not Gore. Very un-49erJim of you.
I love Frankie, so its not being un-49er. What I really wanted to see was Dixon in the RZ or on some 4th down go for it plays. Even 3rd and short would have worked. Why not?
why put him in when you have an all pro option in frank gore or even better brian westbrook.
I like Dixon but cmon man
because Gore was not getting the job done and they were keying on him Westbrook was not going to play in this game. Whats so wrong with mixing things/players up when things are not working? The Seahawks have never seen DIXON.
It wasn't that Gore wasn't getting it done, the O-line was getting absolutely no push what so ever. That was one of the most disturbing things for me in that stank-of-a-game yesterday. The rookie would have had the same thing coming, possibly worse with those happy feet of his.

I feel you. And I meant Un-49erJim like in your content, not un-49er like as in not a Fan. You've been here too long for me to come at you like homie. However, I would not want to see Westbrook get his bell rung behind a all-time gay performance by our O-Line.
I am okay with what you are saying and have respect for you. I love Frank Gore and he is our starter and number one back, that was not my point, maybe I should have worded the thread better, but really, Westbrook was not going to play, so he was out, but Dixon could have played in this game, in RZ or short yard, 3rd and 4th down plays, why not line him up with Frank Gore? Or have Gore in option and use Dixon? They never have seen Dixon and he is big and has a nose for the EZ. I will take him anyday over Norris.
So we're in agreement, and I'm sure most are, Norris has no business out there.

maybe, but I don't think so in the RZ or on short yard plays yesterday. The Seahawks were keying on Gore. You could have faked it to Gore many times and hit or ran Dixon.

Point taken, however, common sense as that sounds, do you see Raye doing that?

Hey I have no problem with Dixon in there over Gore if it gives us a chance to win. I do feel bad for Norris because Alex Smith should have hit him for a sure TD. That play was not Norris's fault.

I for one really don't think Raye called a bad game. The players did not get the job done. Too many mistakes and bad plays in the RZ. You can't blame the coaches for that. The 4th down play to Norris in the EZ was a great call.

I wanted some Big Dix too. It would have been a great change of pace in an otherwise totally dysfunctional offensive performance. I mean come on...

Look right now what the Chargers are doing in the 4th quarter, bring in Tobert and hes running the ball down the Chiefs face. Mixing it up.

You're right about that play, however, since last season and including yesterday, how many short-yardage plays have gone to Norris and he completely fail in hitting the hole with gusto?

Remember last season when everyone here, including myself, said Payton Manning was going to dry f*ck us? Well, we surprised ourselves, didn't we? Let see what happens next Monday-nite.
