People who hate a particular player or exec and turn every post into an indictment of the object of their scorn and surprisingly at least one poster who seems to actually hate the team, has never in my memory ever posted a single positive thing about them, and likes to frame all of his posts in one sentence responses that I guess he thinks are clever. Which of course they aren't. If you have the patience though and stay out of certain threads, like this one, you will find that there are about 20 or 30 people who post in here on a regular basis who actually have some interesting things to say. A lot of it is pretty tiresome though

this is all code for deflection against questioning lord lynch

Wow. Foster really ruined Lynch's approval rating on here all by himself. It was a regular love-fest with Shanny-lynch, then 2 arrests later and people are questioning all his moves since he got here. Unbelievable.

I've never seen a more bipolar, whiny fanbase than ours. It's really pathetic.

WOW, we held trent and every other gm responsible for players they drafted and did not turn out . why in the world is lynch a sacred cow

Lynch has done a lot of good things. Jimmy G being the best. Also, Garcon and the Juice were nice additions. Trent Taylor looks cool. Colbert looks nice. Weathespoon a nice prospect. Kittle shows promise.

I don't see why we can't discuss some potential mistakes if we can gush over Jimmy G like he's the next 10 time super bowl champ. Lynch has done well but as a noob we should keep an eye out for errors, imo.

Please tell me where in my post I said Lynch is a sacred cow. I'll wait.

show me where some are questioning "all of his moves".. some of us showed great concern he misjudged two players in williams and foster. when we do that, some posters just get all bent out of shape and form the impression that lynch is some one who is above scrutiny

Dudes like Goodwin lost his baby and still played that week and became better because of it. That is what we should be looking for. High character and mentally tough. Not the ones who pack it up and go home.

Goodwins situation is different than what Williams went through. And people are all different and handle situations differently.

And yet Kyle Shanahan, Bobby Turner and Williams Utah HC Kyle Whittingham all say otherwise. All men who have personally spoke to him about his situation and were compassionate to what he had and was still going through.

agree times ten. its like early in the year when we lost games and then won them, if kyle deserves credit for winning games then he also deserved some critical discussion on losing games. of course had lynch not got jimmy in here we would not have won those games in my opinion

I know they are different situations. But both were tragic. And people do handle things differently. That is my point. We are better off getting the ones who handle it like Goodwin did. It sounds rough and cold but it is a business. Do you want to hire the guy who quit when his sister died or the guy who fought through that and worked his butt off and became better? It is an easy choice imo.

Foster yeah but i remember a lot of us wanted us to draft him especially at where we got him at the end of the first. Williams is by no means a mistake yet.

But that's because Kyle had close losses. Even when he loses he breaks records.

Solomon Thomas is in a similar situation i wouldn't be shocked if he walks away or takes some time to deal with his loss.

Oh yeah huh, poor guy.

Hopefully he goes the Goodwin route and not the Williams way.

Who is to say Goodwin would have handled Williams situation the same way he handled the passing of his newborn?

And according to Kyle Whittingham, Williams did not quit. It was a mutual decision made for him to take some time away.
John Lynch's personable skills are more important than ever now. With the negativity surrounding Foster's incident - it's important for Lynch to send out a positive message to the media, fans. Foster has to be on board w/ this though - Paint a picture highlighting Foster's rough upbringing, ongoing issues and how the niners have a plan in place to address this. Sweet talker Lynch needs to assure the masses Frank Underwood house of cards style.
