Its a little concerning John Lynch who never seen a mic or camera that he didn't like is taking the cowardly baalke route and is going dark.

Or waiting to collect all the info needed to make the right call...once you say whatever in front of the media that's that.

There is absolutely nothing cowardly about that and you know that.

Thats nonsense, they already have all the facts. It ain't all that hard, these nfl teams have way more info than the general public.

There are 3 sides to every story.

BS stuff like this doesn't get figured out in less than 48 hrs. IF they did have all the info and didn't cut him well there's your answer.

Saying he is going dark and going the cowardly baalke route is as dumb a post one can make.

Had he made a public statement already he would get s**t on for that too. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. #TheWayOfTheWebzone

I know they are different situations. But both were tragic. And people do handle things differently. That is my point. We are better off getting the ones who handle it like Goodwin did. It sounds rough and cold but it is a business. Do you want to hire the guy who quit when his sister died or the guy who fought through that and worked his butt off and became better? It is an easy choice imo.

Who is to say Goodwin would have handled Williams situation the same way he handled the passing of his newborn?

And according to Kyle Whittingham, Williams did not quit. It was a mutual decision made for him to take some time away.

We can't say for sure but based on how he handled this, I'd say he would have overcame it. Goodwin also lost his biological father not to long after his baby. Based on that, I could guess he would have powered through the adversity like he did this season.

We don't have to use the term quit. He took time off from the team. Either way, Goodwin didn't, and that is highly respectable (that doesn't mean what Williams did is s**tty so don't go there).

That is the type of player we should go after.

agree times ten. its like early in the year when we lost games and then won them, if kyle deserves credit for winning games then he also deserved some critical discussion on losing games. of course had lynch not got jimmy in here we would not have won those games in my opinion

He got a TON of criticism for losing games lmao
omg, when some of us did, we were haters. and it was not kyles fault.. it was the players fault.. but when we won games. it was credit to kyle and not the players

i agree.. when something like this happens.. you need to get out in front of the story and get your side or your stance out there. if not, public opinion will form and then it takes a life of its own and you are forever doing damage control. a cop told me that once when a guy he was chasing ran into a tree and died.lol
