OBJ wasn't putting us over the top. The defense is horrible. The offense was serviceable. I agree with Lynch for not overpaying for a guy who is a b***h mentally and more importantly almost never ever plays 16 games because he's always hurt. For the right price? Sure, but I'm glad we didn't over pay.
What's the right price for a top 3 NFL WR still working into his prime at 26??

I can tell what's not the right price given what we know :

- 2nd overall pick + Buckner

- 2nd overall pick plus our 2020 1st round pick

Either or scenario, OBJ is not worth that much.

So I will ask this question again.....

Why are we assuming that what the Giants were asking for is what we would have given them? Look at what the Giants got for OBJ. Either of your two scenarios would be giving up FAR more than the Giants accepted. So why is what the Giants supposedly asked us for the measuring stick, rather than what they actually accepted?

It was already reported, and Gettleman said it, he wanted 2 1st rd picks, 1 this year, and a player who is a 1st rd talent, he didn't want a 2020 1st, plus they got a 3rd as well. We were never getting OBJ, it's clear the Giants wanted him out of the NFC.

He(Gettleman) asked for Buckner, we said no, they refused swapping 2 for 6, and our 2020 1st for OBJ. It was NEVER happening. people need to get over it, and stop harping on the past so much.

Seattle #21 & 29
for
SF #2

NO WAY am I taking this. What am I missing?

Hell no! the Value isn't even close lol.Thats also pretty stupid cuz according to Mike Garafolo yesterday, the Jets was willing to swap #3 for Sea #21 and Clark lol.

Hopefully the Raiders will do this

Why the f**k would we want Ogletree? We have Warner and kwon already, makes no sense to add someone who won't play, unless Ogletree would be the SAM, not sure he's a SAM or not. Much rather have OAK deal, but rather stay at 2 and take Bosa.

I don't this is the way a GM should refer (in bold) to a current player (Kwon):
"We're very happy to have Kwon Alexander, but that came at a heavy price [large contract]," Lynch continued. "We would've much preferred to have Reuben still playing here.

It's because hes on a cheaper rookie deal. Not because of the player

And because Lynch wouldn't have egg on his face.

Option B please
Big draft for Lynch here. Seriously do not fk this up. Still a lot of holes on this team and frankly I would have thought a bunch of those would've been addressed but we still are waiting.
Game time baby!

Albert Breer recently :

"After Bosa and Allen and Quinnen Williams," one AFC GM said, "it's a legit crapshoot."

So here's what that means: Most teams I've talked to over the last two weeks expect that in the 12-16 range, they'll be looking at guys with second-round grades

And back in mid March from LZ :

"I had heard that the Browns considered there to be 15 players that are first round players in this year's draft," Zierlein explained. "That sounds about right. About 15 guys who are first round picks. Analytics is always about quantifying value so, for them, that 17th pick, they considered that a second round player, generally speaking

Stay at 2 and get one of the two best prospects in this class, quality trumps quantity.

Prefer 35 and the Raiders 2020 1st
That trade would rape the raiders
