Need to change the name of this thread to "Joe has to go show".

You guys are ridiculous.

He had a bad game after being out of action for a long time. I didn't see what part of the game he hurt his finger, playing injured could've made the rust even worse.

He's one of our best players and a great guy. Shame on everyone talking chit about the guy for a poor game.

He's getting outplayed by Skule. At what point do you go with the younger hot-hand? After Jimmy get's destroyed and our run game is obsolete?

He's not getting outplayed by Skule in the same game. Clowney was in rare form this game and Joe was coming back from a long absence. If you feel more confident with Skule squaring up vs Chandler Jones then I'm not sure what to say to you.
Ya'll folks crying and overreacting realize Staley hasnt played since week f**king 2 and in his 1st game back got matched up against jadaveon clowney, not no damn cassius marsh

No, we are saying he's not the same player he once was, and was outplayed by undrafted and late round draft picks. That's the point. His time may have passed; he hasn't been the same the last couple of years, actually.

I would go one step further, may be is time for Joe to retire. You cannot defeat father time.

But, I would agree with the original comment that McGlinchey is overrated though.

Either way, we can't field an O-line like we did in that Seahawks game. If backups are playing better, then we will have to field them.

I am saying exactly that. He was a good player for awhile, but has been overrated for quite some time. You can't live off of past reputation forever... It's time to start looking for his replacement.
Speedy recovery Staley! Rest up & get ready for the playoff run

Who cares how many pro bowls he's gone to, he's struggled THIS year, before and after the injury. Nothing wrong with pointing that out.
He is heading quickly towards Retirement.

Time to hang them up.
I just want the best performing LT to be starting, if it isn't Staley anymore then so be it

So he misses more time and comes back to another rough patch while he shakes off the rust?

Feels like we're falling apart.

Instead, how about this, he sits on the sidelines and watches Skule play, hopefully good and he's rested and ready to come back when needed and hopefully play like his former self?
