No one disagrees that kyle won't get the most out of him…he's done that for every QB he's had. Doesn't mean Sam is a good consistent QB overall either.

Sam will get his chance. Hopefully he does part and doesn't try to push it and let it come to him.

His opps will be dependent on Trey and Purdy's avail and if the niners draft a QB.

Oddly I feel like Darnold would do well as a back up for a year or two then be better. He needs a mental reboot.

Do you remember Steve Young? It won't happen over night but a QB can be rehabilitated.

Steve had bad Years with the USFL and Tampa Bay. Developed a lot of bad habits, however, because of the talent, Walsh took a shot at acquiring him.

Except for money-we didn't have to give up any draft picks for a chance to see if there is something there like Kyle and Lynch believe in Sam.

However, if Trey or Brock prove to be the best recourse all the more power to the niners, however with a 17 game season and playoffs. I like our QB situation.

Let Sam sit and watch and come in needed.
