Yo that video from Cowherd was downright comical.

I'm bullish on Sam's chances if he gets to play in this O. Any functional QB in this O is gonna rock. It's like QBing a PB squad in terms of talent. You got a HOF LT, 2 #1 WRs, PB FB, best 49er TE, KS drawing it up, with CMC? That is a joke, I don't know how you fit all that talent on one club.
in no way is darnold going to be the same QB as he was in the past on this team

THIS!

Our coaching staff and KS's schemes are light years ahead of Darnold's previous coaches.
From Baldy/Webzone Front page:

"Right now, Trey Lance has started five games in the last three years (including college)," Brian Baldinger said in a video posted to Twitter.

Lance entered last season as the starting quarterback but suffered a season-ending ankle injury during a Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Baldinger notes that Lance played poorly in his first start last season, a loss to the Chicago Bears in the season opener. Although, it is worth noting the game was played in monsoon-like conditions.

Darnold is experienced. He has 55 starts under his belt but has never been part of a roster as talented as San Francisco's.

"Sam Darnold is there to compete, and I expect Sam Darnold to get a chance to compete," Baldinger continued. "And if he gets a fair chance to compete, it won't surprise me if Sam Darnold is the starting quarterback for San Francisco, Week 1."
Lol... That one year deal just shows what an absolute talent he is. Teams must've been knocking down the door for him.

Why are you in a player thread knocking the player? He hasn't even suited up for us yet..

Because if said player bombs, then the poster can come in and say I told you so.

Remember in that thread how we were told there is absolutely zero chance anyone as a FA would come in and compete with TL?

I love Baldy and it's good to see him agree with me. My Sam > Trey opinion isn't rooted in hate, it's just an honest take like Baldys. I don't see how anyone can look at both of their careers and experience and say Trey is better. I've said before any honest ranking would have Darnold ahead of Trey right now

Of course he is. Trey Lance has played 5 games in 3 years. With that logic Darnold is the option assuming a lot of things as he said. The other side to that logic is how does Trey Lance get more games under his belt - easy... they play him.

if Darnold is our starter, things are way worse than I ever imagined.

TL will get his games, if he can play. That was the logic of KS. Sit year one, which he did. Then he should be ready to go year 2. So by sitting and learning, he develops into a starter, that was the entire plan. Not by playing games.

Injury took out his year 2.. but that's even more time to get the mental reps, sit in the meetings, etc. Now it's year 3.. so it's past go time. He's gotta play well this summer to get games.

Well, if the dumbasses keep throwing insults around, they are going to have to find another site for next season. The mods have been fairly relaxed but posts like POS Trey hater are simply not acceptable. Enough.
