You were told? Well it wasn't me who told you that therefore how can I be the one moving the goalposts for things other posters may or may not have said.

Again, it seemed to me that logic and common sense would dictate growing pains for a 5th year coach making the jump fron positional coach to coordinator and play caller.

dcexcuses. if you believe the growing pains.. then kyle who is the head of the rattlesnake should have injected and said.. for gods sake.. do not let adams beat us. and do not tell me. the whole reason why our defense is so bad is cuz of one injury to jason.. good teams can over come that stuff. i think fans and coaches over rated . the alleged best line depth in the nfl. or maybe the depth is there.. its just not very good talent once you get by bosa who can just be doubled all year. cuz no one else is feared or respected on the d line. funny i never heard the term growing pains all off season and all pre season. but now our defense comes out with a terrible effort in two of three games and now we hear.. well its growing pains. its ok and understandable that we lose winnable games........ oh but.. get ready... by the time the playoffs come this guy will have it all figured out

1 takeaway from 3 games is just atrocious.

I was expecting us to give up some explosive plays on defense with DeMeco's aggressive mindset and I was fine with that because I was assuming the aggressive playstyle was also going to lead to more big plays for us on defense too.

At least the one turnover so far resulted in a TD for the defense?

the CBs dropping like flies isnt helping him we had 2 healthy CB by the end half in the packers game i think

He's put in a bad spot. Yes, he made some boneheaded calls, and he'll probably make more boneheaded calls later on. But Saleh was the beneficiary of having Verrett last year. In this modern league, pass defense might be more important than pass rush. Refs are swallowing the whistle and letting the OL hold.

Niners are not adjusting to the rules. Its great that they drafted a mobile QB. Now they need to actually draft top level CBs early in the draft.

Also, I said this team wasn't primed to win now. But I did not want to overly state it because I didn't want to be negative. But yeah. They really should be thinking about starting Lance sometime soon since this year looks to be a transitional year.
