Who gives a s**t what Ryan's thinks. Not me. This defense has been built over many years to play this scheme. Ryan's can literally kick rocks as far as I'm concerned. A complete liability to this team. From what I've seen in these first 3 games, RS generated more pass rush with the backups.

This season is going to be a god damn nightmare with this twinkle toes mother f**ker.

Saleh 2017 was not Saleh 2020. Let the rookie learn some.

Agree but this isn't a rebuilding team like 2017 was. Expectations are higher and he needs to produce or a change has to happen.

This is true. Let's just remember he's a rookie. If Kyle approves then I approve. And if Kyle no longer approves I have faith he'll act accordingly.

Who cares what scheme the DC wants to run? Look I get it, this sh*t is annoying. But it could also be a case of a new DC having improvements on a previous scheme but implemented them too fast. That is what it looks like imho. Guys are hesitating, guessing wrong directions, bottlenecking on gaps.

Looks like Ryan's had all these ideas of how to attack an offense but either hasn't communicated them properly or tried out in too much so our D can't trust each other. That's the whole thing about the Carroll 4-3. Everyone trusts the person to be in a position they need to be.

Now there is no excuse for Adam's running free… that's complete BS. It reminded me of Julio in that game from 2019. Everyone knew the only weapon and for some reason our DCs just ignore that fact.

That's a real concern right now Imo, especially with the Injuries we're dealing with at the Cb position

Sorry but we can't afford to wait three years for this guy to learn and become a competent DC.
3 Games in, not impressed.

Coulda sworn he was going to lead this Defense to a Top 5 position in the League. Looking really bad at the moment.

On the other hand, hopefully Shanny learns not to leave time on the clock for top-flight NFL QB's.

Huh? Who said that?

Search the phrase growing pains in this thread. Anyone expecting a top 5 defense out the gate was a fool.
Prevent-the-win defense 8-yard cushion for Davante Adams, and Hufanga was sooo far away

Way too easy in that crucial situation at the very end! Adams just running free to open space...then, it's just pitch-and-catch at that point. It's really and hope they learn from it.
They played Davante Adams like he was Tyreek Hill. The dude is not a burner.

And then go somewhere else as a HC.

Grrr. Cover2 man means there is safety help over the top. As a CB, get into a trail position. Check out Moseley at the bottom. That's how.

Thanks for the clip. Stop it at around 8 seconds. You will see that there are THREE wide open packers. No one even close. In fact if rodgers hit underneath cross to Adams side he would've taken it 5-10 yards further than were adams went down. This looks pretty miserable. Lots of bodies in the backfield with generous cushions guarding grass.

Why were two rookies on Adams on that play?
