And will he want a qb in the first. It was cool watching that segment he did last season with tebow, clausen, and mccoy. If he has the choice of newton, mallet, and locker, I wonder who he chooses

I'd be good with Gruden. I may be in the minority here, but I think I'd like to keep Manusky on board. His defense has been asked to do way too much, and all this without a legit passrusher and a terrible secondary.

I will be happy with either Harbaugh and Gruden.

My only problem is that I'm still not 100% sure that Jed will fire Sing.

all the big name writers agree that both Harbaugh and Gruden are interested in our team.

finally this is my $0.02 on the coaching changes in the nfl:

Cowboys: I think they will promote Garrett if he wins a couple more games.
Vikings: same with Frazier
Raiders: i think Davis might promote Hue Jackson as He will be too scared to lose him to an other team.
Texans: If they miss on the playoffs again I think they will fire Kubiak and will try to hire a defensive minded coach to fix their biggest problem, maybe Fox is an option here.
Panthers: a cheap HC for sure, maybe Grimm from the cardinals.
Broncos: some who has ties to the organization, reports mentions Kubiak if he gets fire in Houston.

I think there might be a few more changes, like the titans, Browns and Bengals.

Texans: How about Wade Phillips as the HC?

Panthers: The two names I've heard mentioned are Russ Grimm and Chargers DC Ron Rivera.

The only thing that worries me about Gruden is that I've never seen him work well with young QB's before, the verbiage of his offense is just too damn complex. I think in order for Gruden to succeed here we're gonna need a decent veteran QB.

Which makes me think the 49ers will go after Kolb or sign Orton..
We would have to trade for orton, he was extended this year

Seriously, hire Marty Mornhinweg, and get the club price from Reid (all we'll probably have to give up then will be a 3rd round pick), then draft Ricky Stanzi in the 5th as insurance.

But yeah, if Gruden ends up being our next HC, acquiring Kolb would be an amazing acquisition (since Kolb could be a good QB with a complete year as a starer, and Gruden can't evaluate a young QB if his life depended on it anyways). Gruden also has strong ties to Andy Reid from their days in Green Bay together (with Holmgren).

McNabb signed a five-year extension worth $78 million ($3.5 million guaranteed) with a chance to make it $88 million by completing incentives.

Wait. I thought he has a clause in their that gives the Redskins the ability to let him go w/o taking to much of a $$$$ hit. Is that the case?

Just curious?
