I wouldnt mind Gruden or Harbaugh as HC, Childress or McDaniels as OC, & Phillips as DC. Now that would finally be a nice coaching staff that knows how to make adjustments

Great, you want Gruden to be your HC but at the same time telling him who your OC and DCs are. It doesn't work that way.

Not exactly what I want but I would not be upset with that staff.

we have way more question marks going into the offseason than just who the HC/OC/DC will be...the only QB signed thru next year is DCarr...there are multiple areas we need to address on the defensive side...our interim/acting GM or whatever he is or ISN"T, etc...


we're in a world of hurt in my book...

do i trust jed to make the right decisons? no absolutely not

its never good going into the offseason without a capable, intact front office, an HC/OC/DC, and sh*t for a QB


this sucks, even tho most view it as a reprieve...when i think about this offseason and beyond, the only thing i can picture when i close my eyes is one big question mark...we're not in good hands(Yorks)

I brought that up to show his poor track record. I know he won't be making trades here but he would have input into who gets drafted and traded. He also will have a say in who starts etc...

He has an inability to get along with people, especially stars, and he is s**tty at spotting talent. I see him and VD+Gore clashing already!His lame roster moves are worse then Singletary's.

On top of that, he is a cheater. He was the beneficiary of being on a good all around Patriots team and Bellicheat. We need guys who will help build this franchise up, not tear it down ever further then it is.

I want Harbaugh as the next Niner coach and Andrew Luck as the QB.
I would trade to get the first pick in the NFL draft---trade the Niners pick---maybe # 6 or 7 and throw in Patrick Willis to get Luck.

QB is much more important than middle linebacker!

Yup lets throw in frank gore with patrick willis since a Qb is more important than having a premier back and the best MLB in the league.

Patrick Willis will not be traded for the pick of Andrew Luck

At this point I'm hoping we first hire a 'big-name' personnel guy before we hire our next coach. It's something the Pats, Chiefs, Dolphins, and Falcons have ALL done within this decade (before turning the corner to promising success).

If Jed wants to win, he needs to listen to his Uncle Eddie and bring in a FOOTBALL GUY. The football guy not only brings in the right coach(es), but he brings in the right scouts/lures big name free agents to give a HC/position coaches a lot to work with for a post-season berth.

Cheapest coach available + No GM + Troy Smith + Alex Smith + David Carr. The ownership plan for the future.

you have to make bold moves to get a team out of a many years rut.
It all depends on how good Andrew Luck will become---I think he will be a star in the NFL--a star QB is worth about any cost to get.

But I have no say--so we shall see what the Niners do.

hopefully Jed comes to his senses and hires a GM/VP First.
