DK Metcalf

I'm not so sure about that. Crabtree was one of the best college WRs of all time.

Obviously Dez turned out to be the better player though.

Yeah that is definitely up for debate. I just remember the talking draft heads saying that and getting all butthurt because at that time I thought Crabs was going to be our next great WR so how dare they! Haha time will always expose the truth.

DK might compare to Dez & Calvin physically but was no where close to the same skill coming out of college. Calvin was considered one of the greatest WR prospects ever and stood out as the best receiver in the nation at Georgia Tech... just think about that for a moment. He had a RB playing QB throwing him the ball and still was so good that it wasnt a debate about who was the best WR in college at that time.

Dez was considered a better prospect than Crabtree who came out the year before to go along with Velcro hands. Had he not been suspended he would of taken the top WR award that year.

DK... wasnt even the best WR on his team to go along with inconsistent hands.

Landry and Beckham are both pretty good receivers in the NFL. Does it matter which one was the number one in college? There's no rule that says only one of those receivers will be good. Before DK went down from injury Brown had 650 yards and 4 td's. DK had 569 yards and 5 td's. There wasn't a huge gap between them this season. Brown exploded after he got hurt which he should do because he's a great prospect.

It's fair to say DK never put up #1 production, largely due to injuries, but that's why he fell. Josh Gordon had 700 yards in college. It's not end all be all.

Wonder if DK puts up big numbers if Brown had gotten hurt.

First time you ever heard that lol

I tried to think of another example
but couldn't. Pryor is the only guy in history who was better off with the Browns.

Bernie Kosar. Unless you mean the new Browns. In that case, Trent Richardson lol. Seriously.
Sounds like he's getting knee surgery

No, but he had a high ankle strain that took him out of month.

I'm guessing it was a knee scope...how long with Garnett out when he had his?
This place would be in a frenzy if we were the Seahawks. LJ Collier has a high-ankle sprain, DK Metcalf needs surgery and Marquise Blair was carted off the field last night due to "back spasms."

And their 1st round pick last year is in a fierce competition to be the #2 RB.
