The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 4 contest against the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Tackle Trent Williams returned to practice after suffering a neck stinger in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals. That's good news for quarterback Brock Purdy, who hasn't been sacked yet this season.
Unfortunately, one of Purdy's weapons, wide receiver Mike Evans, continues to miss practice while dealing with a rib injury. However, Evans was seen working on the side, which is an encouraging sign.
Also working on the side were linebacker Dre Greenlaw and defensive end Keion White.
Running back Christian McCaffrey returned to practice after receiving a veteran rest day on Wednesday.
Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Broncos, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
