I don't think the Niners should waste any resources, money or picks, on a QB until this Oline is fixed.

Give it to Pennington for a year or 2, if the guy can come back healthy. We certainly need some O-line help as well, have for years. But I think it will still be awhile before that area is perfectly fixed

Why...so we can ruin his career too? Did you not watch Jay Cutler tonight...
Tonight was Jay Cutler with a BAD Oline. If this isnt evidence of an o-line having an effect on your play I dont know what is. Could you imagine if we signed Cutler this off-season? And worse yet if we gave up 2 first round picks? Wow...we'd be screwed. Although, then again...it would have been a blessing in disguise. At least at that point, our management would realize the important of building the trenches before anything else.

We need to upgrade our offensive line first, and I'm sure Nate Davis will be ready for action next season.

If we lose the next two games, does alex stay in, or do we give nate davis a shot? We need to know what he can do before we use a top pick on a qb. You never know.

Manning is too old, and he has already peaked.
Shoot if that's the case throw in Shaun Hill as the kicker and they will really want to get rid of Manning.

I think they are going to have to trade for a QB. There isn't alot of proven winners that are Free agents. The best of the crop looks to be Kyle Orton but he will probably be extended in Denver. One guyon the list that is going to be interesting is Culpepper. Here is the list.
