I can't wait until Sunday so we can shut everyone including our own fans up! NFC West is still ours to lose.

I dont havta go back to 2000 like you did-last yr. Moeaki lite us da f..k up too! and most of the times we get scored on is by slot and TE guys. Hell FB outta backfields get us too. Bottom line is yesterdays game supports my assesment/arguement... Talk all you wont but Who won, who lost, and how did it happen ????
PS- Bet Keller has a better game vs. us than Rudolph...bet me
The defense is elite. Yesterday they played in their base defense which was the first time this year. They gave up 24 points which is not elite but they were not blown out either. Obviously we would like them to come out and only give up fg's but that's not realistic. 24 points would not be all that bad had our offense actually put up more then a single touchdown.

And the thing that's annoying about what topdog keeps doing is listing reasons why we are not an elite defense but then goes on to say other teams (Houston, Baltimore, Pittsburgh) have elite defenses even though all the reasons he listed why we're not elite are MORE than applicable for them.
"Waaaaaah, we lost to Ponder in his 2nd year, Baltimore's defense is definitely more elite than ours"
Cool story bro, they lost to Gabbert in his rookie year
"Waaaaaah, athletic TE's do well vs. us"
Cool story bro, here's evidence showing TE's having really good games against Houston and Pittsburgh, who you claimed were elite
etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

AGAIN, HOW THE HELL DID WE GO 13-3 and come within a couple fumbled punts of the Super Bowl if our defense is not elite? Please riddle me that. Please.

The Texans have beat 3 crappy teams. Not ready to crown them just yet.

Went 13-3 last year. Our record after 3 games? 2-1. And that loss was at home.
Just saying...

Plain and simple it was obvious their entire gameplan relied on having the lead. They had no gameplan for playing from behind early. They expected to shut down the Vikings offense easily and then control the game. That went south immediately and they looked like chickens with their heads cut off. We been talking about trap game all week and that was what happened. They underestimated the Vikings and had no plan B. They tried to improvise and it didn't pan out. That is what explains the bad play calling, they were just trying to force something to work because they had no plan. The one thing that could of saved the train wreck was the defense being able to stop them. Sadly the Viks planned well against our D so we were doomed from the start.
I didn't think it would happen but they underestimated the Vikings and paid for it.
Amazing really that they only won by 11 considering what I said above and on top of it all the turnovers and penalties and 3 and outs we had.

It was the 3 80+ yards that killed us. Sure they gave up only 24 points, but 21 of those came off those long drives. They milked the clock on us and didn't allow our offense to get onto the field. They beat us at our own game. That's my honest opinion.
They came out and set the tone immediately while we missed open passes, missed sacks, let there guy get open on 3rd down, committed 30 yards in penalties after we cut the lead to 4.
While I agree the defense is elite, I just think our whole team played bad. Yeah the offense could/should have scored more, but the defense should have made the stops on these longs drives. We just could not stop them. They were pounding the ball, getting guys wide open, and they went for it on 4th and 1, while we kicked.
The Vikings beat us, time to move on I think for everyone.

I called it too. Hate to say it but after they scored and made it 7-0 I was like oh f**k, if we don't respond with 7 of our own we are going to lose. I wasn't even being pessimistic just gave me a bad feeling. When they couldn't respond with a touchdown I had knew it was over, I don't even know why there was still plenty of time I just knew....

All I know is that the Cardinals are 3-0, on top of the division, and look as good as us, if not better.
