Yup, he still does. It's pretty much 50/50 if he'll make the catch or not.

Let's not go too far here. Take Vernon off the Niners and we have 2nd worse offense in football. He's made too plays for us this year for this type of crap. We didn't get eliminated from the playoffs in week 13 because of one drop.

You're right we should cut him he totally isn't one of the most productive TEs in the NFL right now or anything.

That and Frank Gore is great but over the course of his career he really fumbles too much. That kills us too.
This team would win probably 3 more games a year if they would just stop shooting themselves in the foot.
It seems like its always in the red zone too.

During Rathman's first stint as RB coach with the 49ers, he was tough on his RBs about holding the ball correctly. He was the toughest on Barlow. I think a lot of it is just Gore himself. Every time he carries that ball, I am just waiting for a fumble.

Your right, it was VDs 2nd drop in the 4th qrt that killed us. His first TD drop I can live with. 2 drops 14 points off the board = VD failed!

Yep. He is at the top of the list of receivers who drop passes in the league. Not good. He needs to stay after practice and catch as many balls as possible.

he dropped two passes on monday bother were on 3rd downs

Thr frustrating thing is he was catching everything, incl the tough catches, earlier this season. Then, the dropsies mysteriously reappeared and are back to stay, at least so far. This makes me think that at part of it is mental. Hopefully, he gets back on track and they become a rarity instead of a regular occurence.

I really like to know what's your problem. What kind of "man" or "fan" has nothing but insults to share here?
We all know that you are not feeling well. Maybe your wife beats you or maybe your neighbor peed in your breakfast cerial? Dunno but don't whine and troll here.
