I have and always and will always respect the guy's talent and motivational qualities (as a fan of the sport, I give respect to all players who contribute to the game), but outside of that 100 yard field, I was turned off by how self-absorbed the guy appeared to be the last few weeks.

I obviously don't know him outside of what the media portrays, but if its a microcosm of who he is, then I would choose a quieter, "less flashy" rah-rah, Patrick Willis ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. If anything, I want to thank Ray Lewis. He's demonstrated why I love how unselfish our superstars are.

Let them talk up Ray Lewis all week. My hope is the 49ers win the Super Bowl so the only stories that are written are about Gore's, V.Davis', J.Smith's and Moss' long journey's to the top of the mountain.

Notice that at first he framed it as "well that's old news from 2 years ago", but apparently no one asked and he hasn't addressed the fact the "alleged" phone call was placed back in October after he injured his triceps.

Why doesn't someone ask him point blank: "Is Mitch Ross at SWATS, and Sports Illustrated, lying when they say there is a videotaped phone call between you and Ross in which you tell him to 'send everything'....and that you swallowed four deer antler pills while on that call"?

If those things alleged are untrue, there's no black and white here, he could file and rather easily win a libel lawsuit...even if "not about the money," you'd think he'd do it to at least clear his name.

Ravens fan from Maryland here. Just wanted to put a word in regarding Ray Lewis. If you guys took the time to research you'd realize that the Ray Lewis Atlanta incident was simply a matter of being at the wrong place and the wrong time. As for the deer antler spray, it's clearly a ploy to earn money off of controversy. The NFL and Goodell would have said something if there were any truth to the story. Its sad that the media is dragging Ray Lewis' name through the mud.

Ask yourself why the captain of your defense, Patrick Willis, chooses to wear 52? Why does he consider Ray Lewis an older brother and friend?

He pled down to obstruction of justice in exchange for his testimony against his friends, who were also acquitted.

Lewis' limo contained the victim's blood, Lewis was seen throwing a punch, Lewis'' white suit had blood and wasn't recovered. He misplaced a $2,000 dollar suit?

Lewis was involved and there is a felony murder rule. Even if you didn't commit the act, if you were around and involved in the fight you could be charged with murder.

I think he was definatley involved and tried to cover up his tracks. He's a phony and all this god s**t is an act. when he is questioned about the deer antlers, he is shakey, nervous, dodgy and looks damn guilty. Just like he did during the trial

He's a lowlife POS and also an idle to many, including Willis. Its like that b***h Snookie. She has fans but it doesn't make her any less of a slut. Doesn't change the facts.
