With Vick's amazing level of play and his free-agent status after the year, Kolb will likely be traded. I think he would be a great pick-up, especially if we hire Gruden as Head Coach. Gruden runs a West coast offense similar to Reid, so Kolb would already know the playbook.
An amazing scenario would be:
Holmgren as GM
Gruden as HC
Kolb at QB

How about a 4th or 3rd at most? I'd trade for him, but not for a 1st or 2nd. Also, Childress would be a good OC, too.

I could really see Childress as Gruden's OC.
Really -- only a 3rd? I heard Philly got offers higher than that last year for Kolb.

As cheap as Kolb is gonna be next year they have no reason to trade him especially if Vick keeps taking hits like he is. IMO the Eagles wont trade him unless they get blown away with an offer.

Since Gruden calls his own plays, I'd imagine that Childress would only take that job if it was the last thing he could get.

Kafka is even cheaper. They're high on Kafka, esp as a back-up. Kolb is also a FA after 2011, so its use-or-lose.

It should be to us, unless the Yorks pull a York move...like signing Dick Jauron as HC with Delhomme at QB

that's what I think too. I might be willing to give up a 2012 first rounder, but there's no way I would give up what is likely to be a top 5 (at least top 10) pick this year for him.

He would draw a 1st or an early 2nd due to QB needs. He is solid starter, but not the franchise player I have in mind. The fair trade would be a 3rd Rd. for me.
