i think so. in fact, i'd rather do that than be on the hook for a longer contract. He would be a rental. If the team truly believes they can still make the playoffs, they should try to get him.

well, i don't know, but he is still one of the most dynamic players in the NFL, and if we are serious about this playoff talk, you don't let a player of that caliber go by you (if you're smart, anyway). The problem would be: would we even use him to our advantage? I doubt it. He'd probably be on the bench for five or six of those games while he "learns the playbook" and when he finally did get into the game we'd have him doing nothing but run end-arounds and five yard hitches.
