Miller will surely be gone. Peterson might be gone. If only one were to fall, it would be peterson.

You have to remember some team will likely reach for a player in the top 10, and will give us more of a chance for Peterson or Miller to fall.

I have a strong feeling that this years Tyson Alualu, Tyson Jackson or Donte Whitner will be Phil Taylor.

You mean somebody in the top 6 will reach for a pick and Von Miller and/or Patrick Petersen will fall to niners?

Exactly!!!

What if it's peterson or miller someone reaches for?

I'd take the best CB in the game over the best OLB or DE in the game right now.

Give me Nnamdi.

This is usually true, however, Miller isn't an elite pass rusher. He's a one-trick pony that only knows how to speed rush off the edge. He's going to get eaten up at the NFL level and will be a bust, basically a 3rd down specialist.

Peterson is Nnamdi-like lockdown corner for the next 8-10 years. This is a no-brainer.

Oh well. Hopefully a dragged out Lockout will force Sheriff Goodell to quit his job, as he is a crook.
I still say Von Miller because we need a pass rusher bad but damn why does he have to act like a b***h in regards to the draft? Filing a Lawsuit? Cmon now!

Then you'd be making a mistake.

Here's how it works - Elite corner completely shuts down his receiver...but the other team has 2-4 others left to exploit your defense.

An elite pass rusher gets to the QB and the QB can't get the ball to ANY of his receivers.

Of course these are extremes but a consistent pass rush can make average corners look great. A great corner with an average pass rush leaves you open in other areas.

Would be super to have both but I'll take a dominant pass rusher any day.

While I like Peterson and think he'll be a very good corner you simply don't know. Nnamdi was a late first round pick and a lot of people thought the raiders reached for him. Revis wasn't even a top 10 pick if i recall correctly.

There have been other great CB prospects who haven't done much in the NFL. Corner is a very tough position to scout.

I believe we will indeed pick one of the 2 which will be smart because IMHO NO QB IS 1ST RD MUSTS!

Just curious...how old are you?

This is such a silly comment. So he's a cowboys fan after growing up and playing in Texas. So his name is attached to the NFLPA suit....so what? What if Patrick Willis put his name in? Would you want to get rid of him then?

I am a grown man that knows you don't sue someone you don't even work for yet. He is against a rookie pay scale and has never played a down in the NFL, imagine what happens if he has 15 sacks in a contract year. I don't care about him being a Cowboys fan, I care about the fact he showed up in court purely for money issues without ever putting a professional day in. He wants to get paid his big contract just in case he is a complete bust.

...and yes, I understand wanting to get paid but it shows some major character flaws in my opinion.

...and if Patrick Willis was involved he is a proven player in the NFL and would have every right.

yup

the lesson of shut up and mind your business eludes him

It's hard to think of anything that's IS more of his business than the rookie pay scale. It's precisely his business.

then he needs to sue the NFLPA whose members have been fighting for a pay scale as well....and he's not a rookie until he's drafted
peterson so when they show he highlights of him getting a pick six on nfl network deion can say "patrick PETASON"!!!
