I really hope he was messing with his boy, just trying to get attention because he obviously craves it. If Aiuyk is serious wow, a masterclass in self destruction. PHD baby.

I don't know how history will judge Purdy.

I do know he has been to more superbowls than the gods Allen and Lamar.

Doesn't mean he is better. But it does mean something.

Allen with KS and the roster Purdy has had since coming into the league would be an absolute cheat code. Lamar wouldn't be as good as Purdy has been.

Purdy and SF just need a SB win, idc how he will be compared to his contemporaries

The point is you are forming an opinion with a lot of incorrect and disputed information. I'm trying to help sort out what is known, and what's disputed, in order for you to have a stronger opinion. One that actually makes sense with what happened then, and what's happening now.

We see how Brandon Aiyuk is acting now that he wants out and wants to play for Washington. It's a lot different than what he did during his contract negotiation, where you believe his 'whole prerogative' was to play for Washington then.

I mean he was still requesting a trade and taking to social media with various antics. You and I have already established that you consider those antics his leverage and normal negotiations; I don't. Playing for Washington was very much in the literal picture he posted of practice videos.

Apparently he also made a post on IG @ Jayden Daniel's and said "What's so funny" with him looking angry 😂

What opinion am I forming I said Aiyuk accepted the contract at the last second. "A lot of incorrect information" what the amount of time we gave him to sign it?

I pointed to it in the post you're replying to:

'It doesn't matter if it was 3 weeks or a couple of months his whole prerogative was to go to Washington even more so than the $'

You also were arguing with Tigerlaw about Kyle Shanahan's role in Aiyuk re-signing here, even though those details have been reported by multiple sources and confirmed, at least in part, directly by Kyle Shanahan. There were downstream effects from this, within the organization, which was initially reported by Michael Silver. Here is that reporting (which I linked a handful of posts back):

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6182308/2025/03/07/49ers-jed-york-organization-reset/

Do you think that's an opinion? He reportedly turned down more cash from other teams and only signed when we pushed the envelope. During the negotiations he was posting himself FaceTime with Jayden Daniels. It's not too hard to connect the dots.

Tried to read the article you posted but it's blocked, I'm not going to say Kyle/Lynch/Paarag are free of blame but to point it at them is ridiculous. Aiyuk signed the deal they laid out right before he was about to be traded and Tigerlaw was blaming/making the case that's Kyle's fault

How can you say it wasn't a few weeks also, because of what Breer said

is Breer more reputable than Schefty, who said it was offered August 12th?

See the end of the sentence you're referencing:

'It wasn't a few weeks either according to Breer's reporting, or Aiyuk's agent.'

The 49ers leaked the offer was the same. Breer's reporting and Aiyuk's agent dispute the information provided in the leak.

Perfect reading on your part, as always.
Breer is not on a scale of schefter for reporting. So to ignore this/schefter is putting your head in the sand

your sources, Breer is always suspect and the Agent who BA can't trust shouldn't be your hill you're trying to die on

but again, the timeline isn't the main point here and still irrelevant.

it's the circus BA brought when he made it harder on everyone
