I think everyone agrees what happened up front: 49ers didn't pay Aiyuk early in 2024 and were shopping him. He felt disrespected by this, perhaps as anyone would. Everyone can get in line with that.
What happened after that is where I think there is a disagreement on what is a reasonable reaction and what isn't. It's a matter of perspective.
Some folks will think Aiyuk acting out during contract negotiations, making negotiations more difficult than they had to be (his words), having guarantees voided due to not showing up (speculation on potential technicalities) are all fair game/justified due to 49ers not paying him early in 2024/leaking/etc.
Other folks will say players/negotiations since the beginning of time (including productive members currently on our team) went through similar situations and didn't do the things Aiyuk has so they don't see aiyuks response as reasonable.
They are both just matters of opinion and honestly doesn't matter much what us fans think either way.
