I agree with this (aside from your spelling error/misuse of the word). Never understood the logic of a consolation bracket. If you win, you should be done. In two of my other leagues, if you dont make the playoffs, your season is over. In my fourth (and final) league, it operates the same way you just described, where if you lose you move on. We do this because the loser of that league pays a penalty.
But yeah, having a consolation bracket doesnt exactly make sense to me.

this league is harder to make a penalty for last place since we don't exactly interact in person . But it could be something as simple as zone handle for a month has to be something embarrassing like " last place loser "
Yeah I am not advocating that we have a last place penalty or anything of that nature. I am just saying thats why we do it that way in one of my leagues. I would be open to a month penalty of a WZ user name of the winner's choosing or something like that. I just dont care to compete in a losers bracket where you can advance and win 7th place haha
With us not allowed to make any moves if you miss the playoffs I for one would not participate in penalties of any kind.
