You saw Adams ball out. There is something to be said for veteran savvy, teaching our youngsters, and you can't teach 6'5
Adam's didn't have to be #1 in LA....Evans is now our #1. It's a subtle but huge difference. My hope is it works out.
This team will likely still be featuring George Kittle and Christian McCaffery heavily in the pass game. Mike might be the #1 WR on paper but he isn't going to be required to be the whole offense.
Probably drafting a wr

This is the year Ricky pushes his way in and says this is why you picked me. Don't count him out as another injury loss pick.
It's definitely his time to make that push and he's shown up and shown out in flashes to date. Definitely not counting White Boy Rick out whatsoever, I'm excited about what could be for him this year.
Just chose to mention the established guys first and foremost.

That's the first great signing of the offseason. If he can stay healthy he's a beast. A little older and some injuries. But that's free agency. We have not had a big, physical, dominant WR like that in forever. Can win the one on one matchups. Go up for the jump ball. Muscle it away from defenders. Evans is always open. Just throw it up. That's a new dimension for us and Purdy. Amazing if he can stay healthy.

I think Mike Evan's might open up our offense. I think Brock is a 50/50 guy. He likes to give our guys a chance to make a play. This will be a good pairing.

If Pear misses time like last year... compare the pass game last year to this year with only Evans as the best option rather than JJ, Bourne and/or Robinson, we're already better. I love JJ's toughness and presence, but Evans is better and will command more attention from DBs, which will allow a scrub to get open

Yeah Brock has those YOLO moments and will just throw it up into coverage on 2nd down so it makes sense to go get the best in the business outside of maybe Jettahs for when he decides to do that

Evans is a smart guy. He's got a chance to build on his legacy instead of padding his bank account. He's gonna eat in Kyle's offense with a QB always looking to push the ball. Dude wants to retire with Moss/TO numbers.
Full agreement!

I don't see that. I think Kyle will envision him as a big X out there.

Mike Evans and John Franklin Myers. 1 for 2 not too shabby and we were definitely in on JFM as well.
I think it's a great move and as I've mentioned before reminds me of Richard Sherman signing for us and unfortunately Demarcus Lawrence with Seattle. A vet many thought was past his prime coming off a down year cuz of injury. Guys who can help not only on the field but in the locker room. Sherm was a bit younger of course but Lawrence was turning 33 into this past season. Evans will turn 33 in August.
this reminds me of signing Anquan Boldin in 2013, same age as Evans now. Boldin was great for Kap, and was awesome that year. I think Evans can have that impact for Brock. Big time signing that will effect the whole team, imo.

wow great signing, huge for brock. sad that this means we are likely losing jennings.
I'm gonna be gone guys. I'm not sure how to feel about this. I haven't looked at the details as many of you have but I do recall him being slightly past his prime. Is he an upgrade over Juan Jennings? I look forward to figuring it out like the rest of you however, I am skeptical. Fair?
