One thing about us finally having a Big WR like Evens is, Brock is the type of QB that would loft up passes to him. Brock has it installed in him that is what you're supposed to do when you have a talented big reciever like that. He's seen it all his life growing up from other talented QBs.

lol idk if I'd say Purdy is more "talented" than Baker. Offensive system sure but we run more than pass. I forgot about Embuka blowing up, so I can see him having more opportunities here for sure especially with Kittle out

I don't understand this contract at all. 16m guaranteed. A little more than 5m per year. Then the "base" contract is 42M. Subtract the guarantee and that's 26m for three years. A little more than 8M per year. What does that mean if its different from incentives? How can it not be guaranteed? If we cut him after year 2, do we save 8m then don't have to worry about year three incentives? Are the incentives reasonable?

I don't know what to tell you. Reports are that his decision were based on the factors I laid out. He clearly left money on the table. So it appears your beef is with his opinion of how this system, coach, and QB can elevate this latter stage of his career compared to the one he left.
