6-3 with the easiest schedule in the league.
A DE like Hendrickson and a S would make us real hard to beat. But nope.
They would need more then two players and once in your in the playoffs you're playing real teams. Its pointless, theres a point where you just have too many injuries to fill and there beyond that.
But they did add two players in Ferrell and White, adding another would be more than two.
Hendrickson would require a 1 or a 2 plus he is a one-year expensive rental. One trade was not going to really change the trajectory of this year's team. We are also a little tight on cap space the next couple of years. A far a the easiest schedule that is based off of last year teams change. I am not sure anyone had Carolina on their playoff bingo card. Teams on our schedule in the playoff hunt Rams twice, Seacocks twice, Tampa bay, Carolina, Bears, Colts, Jags, plus twice against the Cards and all division games are tough.
Why are you bringing up Hendrickson the play was for Jermaine Johnson who could very well fit under the cap. 49ers will be $40 mil under next season and I think that's without the cap credit for Bosa.
Over the cap in 27 so will need some carry over plus what we need for 26. Jermaine Johnson coming off an ACL is not worth a 2nd round pick. He and his 2026 13.4 million cap hit might be worth a 4th but never a 2nd. 32 teams with 10 deadline day trades.
I know JJ is not worth a 2nd round pick hence the reason no one traded for him. What I'm saying is if he was traded to us we could definitely fit him under the cap.
