Why are you bringing up Hendrickson the play was for Jermaine Johnson who could very well fit under the cap. 49ers will be $40 mil under next season and I think that's without the cap credit for Bosa.

Those are just depth players, when depth players are potentially starting you're in trouble.

Everyone is a depth player until they start. You're not gonna pick up all Pro Bowl players right off the bat.

I second that. A lot been questioned about Samuel's spinal fusion, but having had one myself, and having doctors clear him, his health wouldn't be too much of a concern to me. Probably come relatively cheap, too.

It's hard to do that when you used a ton of draft capital on the DL this past draft even though they were all mid picks.

Dude screamed for years that Eric Bienemy deserved a HC job but wasn't getting one because the NFL is racist, and then insisted that Dan Campbell and Nick Sirianni were joke hires based on… wait for it… their introductory press conferences, and insisted they only got jobs because they're white.

I doubt it. The only thing he cares about is saving money. Kyle is probably pissed. Him and the rest of the coaching staff are grinding out 15 hour days and then John Lynch is calling him from the golf course to tell him that no trades are available.

Save the money and draft picks for next year. It ain't happening this season.

Over the cap in 27 so will need some carry over plus what we need for 26. Jermaine Johnson coming off an ACL is not worth a 2nd round pick. He and his 2026 13.4 million cap hit might be worth a 4th but never a 2nd. 32 teams with 10 deadline day trades.

Where were all these guys like Silver etc, when the FO said explicitly before the season that this isnt really a SB contending team and that the defense is a big work in progress that will be inconsistent ? Where were they when the FO said its all about younger players, developing them and placing emphasis on the draft ?

Did they just think it was all coachspeak ?

Everyone knows the schedule this team has had is easy.

This team stole a couple of wins from Seattle and Rams, the latter via a miracle force fumble play and some very heroic performances.
The rest of wins this team has are against Arizona (3-5), Giants (2-7) Falcons (3-5) and Saints (1-8)

There's so much you criticize this team for than not making a desperate move
