How Do You Feel Going Into 2025?

I'm sorry is that a typo? Cuz it looks like you wrote 2016…

I mean that'd be better than last year

We'd have a top 3 pick if not #1 overall. I think going 8-9 or 7-10 just missing the playoffs and picking #17 is the worst
Good, and even better now that our QB got paid / is decided. Favorable schedule, solid coaching, team is rested and hungry for playoffs.

The rookies on defense may need a while to figure things / adjust and the D as a whole could take time to build up chemistry. I believe BP will rise to the occasion if he needs to carry team on his back. This could be the year he might really be called on to do so...defense issues (maybe), BA out for a while and oline still seems questionable.

Oh nice I feel more confident about their record now

Yup, just go against what Cowherd says here (half azz comments) and you'll be a winner

C'mon. You know Colin is a talking head who plays both ends against the middle so whatever happens, he can say he called it. The Niners have a last place schedule this year. And, yes their draft picks were made to shore up age and losses. But, these young studs, especially on the DL, look good. If a couple of them show up, it's definitely improvement. Saleh is going to get the best out of these guys and may I remind you, Mykel Williams is only 20 years old; a malleable young man who is probably going to push for DROY. IMO

Yeah I know. He use to say a lot of good things about the entire organization. He'll change his tune halfway through the season when they already have 6 or more wins.

I'm pumped right now, can't wait for camp. I just hope this will be one of those miracle seasons when no one gets seriously injured.

His analysis is an inch deep. The number one problem for the niners was run defense and a need to add depth. The niners really went after that. I still think Lynch will be opportunistic around the Oline, and worst case will address it heavily next year.

Yup you nailed it.

Also, now that BP got his... I'm guessing / hoping they could figure out a way to sign one solid safety and LB (veterans).

Ah…no

Being a laughingstock of the league and flushing all the good culture building you've done to get a higher pick simply cuz you suck something fierce is not better in any way.

I never want to see a season like 2016 again by this franchise. We were so bad we even blew getting Myles Garrett. Im sure I don't need to remind you who we got with our top 3 pick that draft…

We would be a laughing stock but I'd eat it rather than just miss the playoffs and have a subpar pick. Last time we picked top 3 we got Bosa
I think there is room to be optimistic. I liked their draft a lot. There's no way to know for sure until they actually get on the field, but this FEELS like one of the better drafts they've had since they've been here, where need has kind of lined up with potential. I like the picks of Williams, Collins, West and Martin, so you would think the defense will improve under Saleh. Stout seems like a dog, but his size worries me a little. The safeties are a bit of a concern so Brown will definitely have to step up.

On offense the biggest question seems to be the receivers, which are all somewhat untested outside of Jennings. Watkins and Neyor seem like they'll be worth keeping an eye on and if one of them can contribute, or somebody else steps up, that situation could be manageable with Brock's ability to see the field and get the ball out. I hated seeing Mason leave so hopefully James or Kiner can step into that role. Be curious to see how it all turns out. Go Niners!
I feel a bit settled after the draft, Brock signed, cake looking schedule. Some stud looking dudes on D, Saleh is back. After Sorenson..what a relief. Shanny, hopefully, refining his craft. Hopefully. Still concerned about OL some. Hopefully, the "run will be stopped". We got some good backup QBs. CMC can use his legs, for now lol. Ricky isn't going to be healing from a gunshot for the first several weeks of the season. Looks awesome. And JJ always looks great. Kittle is signed. Awesome. Green, great pickup. Lots on the positive side. Just gotta build that chemistry with the rooks, play some ball..kick some ass so we can win this all in Santa Clara cause it's about f**king time we get that Six
Same thing every year around this time. Some positions are clear but most have competitions. I don't know about others but I enjoy watching to see how the ideas they are going with work out. The things I'm thinking about:

- The DL is VERY unknown but clearly talented.
- Is Stout going to grab the slot and is Demo going to play well outside after owning the slot? Is Sigle going to show up if Mustapha misses some time?
- All the LBs after Fred are interesting but we have no idea who can play next to Fred, let alone back him up. Martin, Winters, Graham are all going to have to step up. Bethune, Blanton, and Robinson will get time if they can be great at ST I think.
- Saleh massively simplifying the defensive scheme and significantly spreading out the load.
- Who are RB2 and RB3 going to be?
- Is anyone going to look like they can replace Juice?
- Is the line really going to be Williams, Bartsch, Brendel, Puni, McKivitz?
Bottom 3
Rb2 is Isaac Guerendo Rb3 Patrick Taylor
I assume you mean in the future? He's still on the team and it looked like we were ready to move on from FB after cutting him earlier this year
