How Do You Feel Going Into 2025?

3) Cardinals - coaching and talent (both good and bad with qb) will keep them around 8-9, give or take a game or two either way.
4) 49ers - old and injured and depleted roster and depth and psychology of knowing it's the end will plummet them to 5 or 6 wins. Hopefully they have enough health to pull out 7 or 8, though; don't want them restocking talent too high.

I really don't know how good we'll be, but this is literally just a "whatever happened last season, will happen again the same exact way next season!" prediction.
We still have dudes on this team! Someone/others should emerge this season too. Shanny and Brock combo i believe in. Robert Saleh back with the vets and up n coming defense i bet will be flying around. On paper a weaker schedule helps too. Lots of positives to look to still!

GO NINERS!
I think the team will start off slow early in the year due to the changes on defense & young players all over the team. But due to our easy schedule we will be able to pull games out early on. As we hit mid season to 3/4 of season the team should really start clicking right about that point. Let's go 49ers! Excited to see the schedule come out next week!
If CMC is truly back, he is the not-so-secret sauce that makes the Shan-offense really tough to beat.

I honestly feel JUICED going into this season. Had it not been for injuries and Jake Moody the team would have made the playoffs last year. This season Saleh is back, we have some extremely exciting rooks to watch and it's gonna be time to watch my team again! Injuries are the only variable that worries me, but if they remain relatively healthy, with the powder puff schedule I don't see them winning less than 12 games, winning the division and competing in the playoffs.

C'mon. You know Colin is a talking head who plays both ends against the middle so whatever happens, he can say he called it. The Niners have a last place schedule this year. And, yes their draft picks were made to shore up age and losses. But, these young studs, especially on the DL, look good. If a couple of them show up, it's definitely improvement. Saleh is going to get the best out of these guys and may I remind you, Mykel Williams is only 20 years old; a malleable young man who is probably going to push for DROY. IMO

Yeah I know. He use to say a lot of good things about the entire organization. He'll change his tune halfway through the season when they already have 6 or more wins.

I'm pumped right now, can't wait for camp. I just hope this will be one of those miracle seasons when no one gets seriously injured.

CMC, Purdy, Trent, Bosa, Kittle, Warner. Any of them go down the team is cooked.

You can say the team for any team. If they lose they're best players they're cooked.

This is different, the depth behind those players is BAD to "ok" at best. We can have an injury here and there but any major injuries to any of those players drops us from a tier 2 team to a tier 3

I think you seriously overstate the average depth around the rest of the NFL.

We are average as far as depth at best, if a vet star like Lenoir. Warner, Bosa, Trent or CMC go down we go into the 7-10 territory. If we are miraculously healthy I can see us winning the division
My take on how the niners are going to do next year comes down to a couple key elements. I think they will be vastly improved. Last year was tough from an injury perspective, especially after several deep runs and the aforementioned effects of not having high picks for a couple years. When Harbaugh initially came onboard, he highlighted that the niners needed change the time of possession by 5 mins, aka less time on defense, more time on offense. He was right almost immediately. The Lynch/Shanahan regime did something similar. Given last year was not great, both from stiffer competition, injuries, and the number one key problem, inability to stop the run, there is only room for improvement. The inners significantly addressed the defense, particularly the dline and run D, which is an position group which can have immediate impact. They are built to stop the run. The offense was pretty good, and will have key stars returning. Couple all that with the easiest schedule for the first time in a while, they should do well.

His analysis is an inch deep. The number one problem for the niners was run defense and a need to add depth. The niners really went after that. I still think Lynch will be opportunistic around the Oline, and worst case will address it heavily next year.

Don't agree. And most teams are struggling if their qb goes down.

So you don't agree, but you do agree about Purdy.

Those are critical players with very little known quality depth behind them.
