Now let's see if he can make it through TC whitout a 4th injury but we would have to be really stupid to think that this isn't worrisome.....but considering that last year some fans here were saying before week 1 that CMC was gonna be fine I'm not surprised to see guys that get offended when someone says that Pearsall might never be on the field enough to justify his 1st round status.

Sure. And he might never be injured again. I don't think people are trying to defend or justify or any of that. It's just that this "injury prone" label gets thrown around all the time and it's meaningless.

He is prone to getting shot!

I wonder if John Stockton was called injury prone by someone when he missed his 5th game of his career in his 14th year in the NBA?

Injury prone just means you're susceptible to being injured. You can apply that to every player that steps on the football field. Once you get hurt you're no longer injury prone. You're injured.

So ... since I've seen Superman injured he's injury prone.

I find it funny people are making a big deal of a minor hamstring tweak in late May. Like it's an injury that's going to keep him out for 6 months. When he returned from the gun shot wound he played all 8 games without any injury and he never missed a game in college.

CRAIG - FAULK - CMC - MARCUS ... they're NOT in Watters skills when it comes to pass catching..

Can we collect enough donations to actually send you to the moon?

Ricky Watters? Yeah idk wtf moon is talking about there, Craig, Faulk and CMC are the best receiving running backs in history

LOL.... Even Lou Holtz said that there was not a better athlete that he saw than Ricky Watters.. the guy also played WR at Notre Dame and could have been an All American!!

With all due respect to CRAIG - FAULK - CMC and MARCUS who were ALL great as a pass catching RBs, but sorry, they are not better than Ricky Watters as a pass catcher...
Injury prone means you never play football games. Outside of him being shot, he's basically played every game in college.

And I'm not surprised people overreacting to minor stuff.

The kid hasn't missed a single game due to those injuries you mentioned. Many players get banged up, especially early in their careers during camps. And teams are a lot more likely to keep guys out of practice or meaningless games with injuries they would play through during the season.

I don't understand how some of you even follow this team. Where is the joy in constantly being in worst case scenario mode?

he was fine once he started playing a lot more at the backend of last season
Pearsall is just one of 100+ players in the league that will suffer hamstring/groin injuries during OTA's and training camp. And If I am a betting man I would bet he won't be the only 49er who deals with this at some point between now and late August. So no need to overreact. Lynch even stated that if there was a game he would have played.
Ricky really poised for a breakout season with Ayuik likely missing some time I just wonder if we keep him inside or try him outside and who's going to be #3 till Ayuik is back
dramatic on both sides
