Is the Pearsall going to be the starting ZWR? I haven't heard any reports about where he's been playing during camp. It's going to be interesting to see where Shanny plugs guys in without BA on the field.

That's because he hasnt played during OTAs and minicamp, he was nursing a hamstring issue

I think the general consensus is Cowing in the slot, JJ at X, Pearsall at Z.

49ers placed WR Ricky Pearsall on the active/physically unable to perform list.

Pearsall "tweaked" his hamstring on May 29th. On June 10th, head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that he expected Pearsall to be ready for training camp, but updates have been scarce since then. Hopefully, Pearsall is removed from the active/PUP list before long. He notably suffered a hamstring strain in mid-July last year, which bothered him for nearly two weeks.

His durability was always questionable. His frame is one of the reasons I didn't like this pick.
