I am proud of them

Hell of a season. I am so grateful for the extra month of 49er football. No matter my thoughts on this game, hell of a season!

I turned the TV off at times this season, but this run is all you could ask for as a fan, just shaking the fruit off the tree.

We just met a better team on that field, that outplayed us. Simple.

I am very proud of them, and there are players on this team that are among my favorites all time- I go back to 1970 as a 5th grader.

That 49-3 NY Giant playoff beat down, or whatever it ended up being, the '87 Viking Divisional loss…. considering the The Team of The 80's was getting their season cut short, this isn't that caliber to me personally.
Never expected a walk in the park to a Lombardi like then.

Gonna be a fan next year, just like the past 50+ of them.

I go by how I feel. I still feel, "there will be no three-peat", the mention of Kyle Williams makes my blood boil. I still shake my head when I hear the name Tobin Fucin'
Rote. I'm not in depression after this game for some reason, I usually am, this team went as far as it could.

Summed up my feelings as well. I had no realistic expectations of a Legit Super Bowl run at the beginning of the Season, and little hope of even making the Playoffs at the midpoint of the Season.

Team showed a lot of heart.

I figured that the transition from Jimmy G to Trey would cause the Team to have difficulties, but it never materialized. Just as there was a bit of momentum to make the switch, JG and the Team went on a bit of a winning streak and that (for the most part) stopped the Fanbase from chanting for the inevitable change.

Thanks for a wonderful Season.

Time to start looking forward to Next Year! (Lots of big decisions to be made)

Great season. Loved every moment of it. Every big throw. Every big run. Every big stop.

All good things come to an end. This season did. A few games before I wanted it to end.

Onward. Head held high. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Weren't even supposed to go this far into the season
Beating the rams in their own stadium, getting the wild card
Sent the cowboys home in their own stadium
Sent the packers home in in their own stadium. And they were the #1 seed
Taking an early lead, but to fall 3 points short of heading to the Superbowl.
Frustrating part is, they would have been playing the bengals....and most likely, pulling off a giants-like season, winning #6.

They have the tools, just fine tune it.

They really have a great second part of the season + the PO run. The first half of the season was really concerning. Kyle was off on his playcall.
But they really fought all season.
Since week 10, they basically played a win or die game every week. Kyle was great, Demeco Ryans was outstanding.
Really proud of the team.
They clearly know what they´re doing.

And they beat the Cowboys and the Packers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm much happier losing the NFCCG than another SB. Don't really want to make it back there until we have a QB that can win it.

Well said. this is the mindset all of us fans need to have after this season.

Onto the 2022 season.

Putting this here since I think it makes the most sense for the 2021 squad:

Team Awards, specifically the Len Eshmont - gotta be Deebo, yeah?

Definitely proud of our team and also sad that this iteration is over.

Each one gets harder and harder to handle. Their trademark now is stacking heartbreaking losses with a super bowl in reach or nearly secured. That's their post ' 94 legacy—not good enough when it counts.

im really struggling with this one. Just as much as the chiefs super bowl and the 2011 OT loss to the giants in the championship.

Just remember it's just entertainment, and only 1/32nd of the league's fans get to celebrate a SB win every year. Think of the positive moments of the comeback in W18, defeating both the Cowboys and the Packers on the road in the playoffs, of Deebo's amazing season, of Bosa's amazing season, etc. If you only care about winning one game and absolutely nothing else you will almost always be disappointed.
