Would it have been nice to know this before the trade deadline?

It's been reported that the 49ers informed Aiyuk they were voiding his guarantees weeks ago, that the NFLPA got involved and Aiyuk informed them he doesn't want to fight the void he just wants out. That's a process, so seems to me the team was well aware of the pending actions with Aiyuk well before the deadline.

I don't think it's about Kyle and more about the FO…but you know that doesn't fit your narrative
Or maybe its about Aiyuk being a huge b***h.

Imagine signing a $120 million deal. Then Throwing it all away. Because you don't want to show up to scheduled meetings or wear the proper colored shorts like the rest of the team. That's some real DIVA stuff there. Always the WR's. Send him on his way. Bye, bye!

Aiyuk is a weirdo

Cut ties with the Baby. Use that extra money to strengthen the O-line, DB's, and WR's rooms.
Sucks as a whole but at least Niners got a huge break on guarantees. They desperately need that for next year

It's actually great for the cap. I've heard conflicting things about 2026 on the internet. But 2027 and 2028 we look much better off with him cut. It's the right move. He's a huge DIVA. Probably will never be the same with the devastating injury. He got over paid in the first place and it's now worse with the injury and DIVA attitude.

Because I didn't lose a bet that entailed not posting for 3 months. A bet that you proposed I might add .

BA has always been a bit of a pain. In his rookie year, Shanahan had to get on him hard about his training and practice habits. He did respond but it may be that BA never felt comfortable with Kyle. He accepted them because he knew that was the only path to money. Now he has received a LOT of money, enough that he can raise his middle finger to Shanahan and go his own way, whatever that is.

Until he proves that he can return to form after that injury.
