Kyle turned around aiyuks career with tough love. Then Aiyuk was acting like a b***h to get his contract (by his own admission), and continued to act like a b***h after.
I side with players the vast majority of the time, as THEY should get paid, but Aiyuk really rubbed me the wrong way.
With that said there are 2 sides to every story so maybe one day we'll see

This was the beginning of the end for the relationship between the 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk pic.twitter.com/bExCyI5RVZ

I wanted Lamb over Aiyuk. He's a diva too but dangit.. He still produces.. And probably wouldn't have been so unhappy here.

This should be a lesson that every other year you have to spend a good pick drafting WR because they are all or turn into selfish- divas. This way in year 4 or 5 if they act up move-off them or when it's contract time there is no gun to your head.

Probably right in this with the trend of WR divas. Kyle seems to be picking at least WRs per year but talking lower picks that are long shifts with high upside. Worst case is they play ST but most cases they are gone in 3 years.

Would it have been nice to know this before the trade deadline?

Are we referring to Shanahan or BA?

I knew there had to be more to BA not having his practice window opened. It's been like 13 months since his surgery. Worse case scenario he was suppose to be out a year. He should have been back a month ago.

His injury recovery time suspiciously like the Jerick McKinnon recovery. Never really fully recovered after 2 years. Can't fully practice or play at any meaningful length of time. At this point it's heading that way. Niners and Aiyuk both need to get out of each other's way.

They are making bold declarations in the media. Without any specific details. This is very murky right now.
No it's pretty clear. They reported that he's not participating in contractually obligated meetings/events. This has been going on for several weeks and as a result the team has voided his guarantees for this year, which, from memory, is about 26m. When he's released at the end of the year, he will be 28m dead money on the 2026 cap.

The 49ers can still spread that dead money over the next two years, to split it in half each year. They will save over 85 million in cap over the next 3 years.
