Going into this game the same as every game starting from week 4. Hoping the young guys ball out, not expecting a win, but definitely not rooting for us to lose. Would like us to hit Wilson hard at every opportunity... we might not be able to stop them making the playoffs, but if we can hinder them for when they get there I'm down for that.

This is one of those rare win/win scenarios the Niners can look forward to this season.
The attitude should always be to want to see the Seahawks get their ass kicked and if that doesn't happen, oh well, better draft pick.
Hopefully this is the last time in a long, long time we'll have to approach a Hawks game like this.

We're nearly a month in on Shanahan rotating out (and flat out sitting) veteran starters for late round draft picks and UDFAs.
It's smart in that they're getting longer looks at guys to see if they should be on the roster or not next year, but it's also just a VERY fancy way to just say you're tanking.
The question isn't if the 9ers are tanking or not. They are. They've already been doing precisely what you do to try to tank.
The question is if while tanking they win or not.
Their problem might be that in trying to tank, their back of the roster nobodies (Wilson, James, Jones, Lee, Reed, Moore, Harris) might actually be better than the vets who were playing ahead of them.
