The Garçon "drop" was b******t. The defender made contact with him well before the ball got there. I'm surprised he didn't catch it regardless but still shoulda been 1st and goal from the 1.

Dude there was so many penalties that could've changed the game had they been called for the 9ers. For instance on a Jimmy G. hit, the defender went helmet to helmet with him......no call. Bearing hugging the s**t outta Buckner.....no call. But whatever I'm over it, moving on.

"Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the bear eats you." Live and learn. On to the next one.

If the bear eats you you can't live anymore cuz you are dead so how do you learn?

This was, by just about any normal measurement, always going to be the 49ers and Garoppolo's toughest game of the year.

Context is important. The NFL fan mindset hates context, I realize.
That last sentence though 😲

Rams don't have the linebackers the Vikings do nor the edge rushers. I'll take the Vikings d over theirs plus we play them at home in LA which is easier than playing in Minnesota at 10 am for a west coast team. Talib is getting up there and Peters is suspect to biting going for picks so he can be had, Minnesota will be the best defense we'll see all year

Minus the last INT I thought Jimmy played decent. He was a little up and down but we just didnt make the plays we needed to(Garcon in the redzone,Kittle wide open and Jimmy overthrowing Kittle in the redzone). We could win 7-9 games easily this year.

This. The Rams have Donald, Suh and two good CBs. The Vikings defense is more complete, they have Pro Bowl level players at every level. No S, LB or DE on the Rams can hold the jock strap of guys like Harrison Smith, Anthony Barr, Danielle Hunter or Everson Griffen.

Better hope we aren't using 3rd string guards out there trying to block that Rams line.

Hunter and Griffen make that defense nasty!!! I agree with Mr. Flintstone I'd take Viking's D over LA's all day.

That's obviously a different story then, jimmy will have to roll out a lot because the pocket will collapse all dayOriginally posted by 9er2k:Originally posted by Phoenix49ers:Originally posted by FredFlintstone:Rams don't have the linebackers the Vikings do nor the edge rushers. Minnesota also added Sheldon Richardson to an already stout DL. He's not Aaron Donald but the Rams also don't have the edge rushers that the Vikings do.

Yeah there were some head scratchers in there for sure. Not gonna sulk on it, just want to give garçon his due respect!

We lose two guards, fastest WR on the team and depleted at linebackers...they only win by 8 after four of our turnovers
They'll turn back into ViQueens in the playoffs (that's a lock) #BookIt
