there would be no improvement in 2018 if you don't improve in 2017 is all im saying.

Now your trying to mix my words up lol...I don't care if anyone complains about our wins or lack their of this yr, thats what I'm saying.

like I said earlier I'm looking at individual play and not being dead last in evey stat. You can see we're playing better then we were last yr...Ws don't have to produce to see improvement, that's how s**tty this team has been the past couple seasons. They've lost by 8 combine pts the past three weeks, last yr we were losing by like 30 a game.

I'll take Rosen/darnold vs wining like 4-5 games. I'll be more than happy to get Kirk then trade that top pick for a f**k ton of premium picks, that if done correctly can get us where we want to be for a long time.

It's a quote from the great cowboy..im not debating Carlos is better at this point, doesn't mean we had to diss Frank like we did, he could easily share carries but oh well. Thanks Jed/baalke

Diss frank? Dude played in SF for 10 yrs lol....please tell me how many RBs play for 10 yrs let alone on the same team?

SF gave him a buttload of cash and from what I remember never asked him to restructure...you think gore wanted to share carries? who knows maybe SF was willing to try that (they offered him a 1 yr deal) but he wanted a multi-yr deal and went for the cash, I don't blame him at all.

It was the right call, but fans for whatever reason can't get over it and it's part of the reason people have an issue with Hyde.

Gore is one of my all-time favs but even bill Walsh kicked players to the curb a yr yearly.

Meh

if you dont win games you still don't have the guys to win later

I still struggle with the draft mentality of fail your way to success. I am sure if we were 3-1 right now some would be saying we can't afford to win any more this season or we won't be able to rebuild properly. Am I right?

No you're not right...and it depends on how we won those games. If we b******t our way to a 3-1 record then yeah I'd be a little bummer that we could very well lose out on a top end QB prospect. If we were winning convincingly with CJ at the helm I'd be happy as s**t and wouldn't care about not being able to afford another win.

All I'm saying is I'd rather have Rosen/darnold vs winning 4 games this yr.

Just an opinion, NY, but Darnold sure looks like he needs another yr in college before going pro.

LikeRosen better, but am still hoping for better . Still early in college games, and still haven't seen kid from WYO.

Rosen is still not the full proof best QB of the class. heard Rosen can be a diva also

I think Darnold will be staying in school. The rumors were pretty strong before the season that he would stay and now that he's been somewhat shaky, I think it is even more likely. Don't see him being an option until 2019.

He's about the closest thing to a consensus #1 in what is looking like a progressively more and more shaky QB class. Beyond him it is really up in the air. Darnold is likely to stay in school, Lamar Jackson still has a lot of developing to do as a pocket passer and should stay in school, Rudolph has some decent traits but is coming out of a basic spread offense, Josh Allen is a 100% project that seems likely to bust if he isn't given significant time to develop as a passer.

Always a tough decision for a fan. Do you hope for wins or hope for a better draft pick. I would love a top draft pick but getting 1 or 2 wins feels really demoralizing. Like we waited months for football just to see a lot of losses.

Fans had to realize that's what was gonna happen this yr (losing). I'm not saying we go 0-16, but who cares if we win 4 games if it's gonna cost us a possible game changing player? Like I meantioned earlier is anyone still talking about that Rams win from week 16 last yr now lol?

I will say I was rooting for a win last week (as I do every week) but I'm not gonna get all bent out of shape because of a lose this yr.

Teams don't tank in the NFL...they can't with the way players contracts and incentives are setup.

That Rams game was great way to start xmas eve. after all the months of losing it was great. it was great enough to send more people to the game after and had a great tailgate and game till the dreaded 2nd half

The more the Skins lose the better it becomes for the 49ers.
