Frankly I don't really care what people would be like if we won the same or more...this team wasn't gonna be good this yr just wasn't. We didn't have a crap ton of pro-bowlers on the roster (zero actually).

I don't want fake wins I guess...any given Sunday a team can win, but if we're 3-1 in convincing fashion and it was with a QB that actually was part of the future sure BUT that's not the case.

I don't want to be the Buffalo Bills...constant below par team that never get's that true difference maker at the top of drafts (namely a QB). I'm looking long-term not just 2017, momentum to me for a rebuilding team starting fresh isn't winning 4 games.

I don't want 7 or 10 wins with Hoyer. That just means that everything but our QB is legit which means we will never be in a position to snag a top QB talent and we may possibly be in that elite run-game/defense with average QB limbo like DEN, HOU, and BUF.

But then again, I do think an elite QB can be had outside of a top 10 pick.

You say you don't care then go on about how do wins help us ?

Who isn't looking long term and we are not the Buffalo bills. The past coaches they had sucked. There are great players to build off in every round, high and low.

agree to disagree, but i don't think wins hurt us.

7-10 then get Cousins in FA ..that is pretty nice there

hoyer will suck, gore will have a nice game. we will make the scrub qb looked like a million bucks cuz that is what we do. probably will not be ready to play the game. but dang, i hope somehow we can pick out a play and then crow about how we were one play again from now being 4-1

Im referring to what the bills do evey yr along with a bunch of below par teams...win enough pointless games that you don't get a shot at a top end QB unless you fork over a f**k ton of draft capital.

If you want to sit around the water cooler and talk about how the niners squeaked out a win vs the s**tty colts that's fine. Winning 4 or 5 games (I had us winning 4) doesn't create some amazing boost to morale for 2018 imo....I want us to win, but like I said I'm not gonna get all bent out of shape if we don't this yr.

I will say if there isn't some sort of improvement in wins in 2018 then yeah I'll be complaining just like everyone else

that first sentence was towards your statement "how do wins help us" Meaning you are complaining that wins hurt us which means you do care

there would be no improvement in 2018 if you don't improve in 2017 is all im saying.

At this pt I'd rather have Rosen/darnold vs win 4-5 games this yr...I agree you can find a elite QB outside of the top 10 but I'd rather have the best possible chance at our staff getting who we want.
