hands + size is one thing when it comes to catching footballs. Height + size + hands is a whole different story. We need that.

Kyle clearly doesn't think that. That's a simple-minded, antiquated approach to the game.

He plays chess, not checkers.

Garcon and Maclin would be a nice 1-2 punch with a sprink of Kerley in the slot.

IF we make the playoffs, we're a team that nobody will wanna face. Shanahan would wreck defenses with Garcon, Maclin, Kerley and a healthy Hyde.

Please show me where KYLE doesn't think that. Because i stated facts, we don't have a tall game changing receiver and we would fare better with one. You are saying Kyle doesn't think that, try telling that to Julio Jones.

Ill Wait.

Where did you find them?

If Kyle felt he needed a particular "body type" to execute his offense, he would've brought him in. Period. He had the opportunity to handpick his wide receivers in free agency and the draft. The players he acquired are telling.

And bringing up Julio Jones is pointless. He is a freak, a once-in-a-generation player. If you're looking for him, you could be searching in perpetuity.

Not true at all. There are so many variable that come into play, even if your statement was true you have to consider many things such as draft order, needs, who has the final say, etc. In our case the only thing against us getting a WR was NEEDS. He's not going to go out and "bring him in" if there are more important needs to be met. We are rebuilding. A lot of you seem to forget this. This is the very first year of a totally new direction. Time... Young grasshopper.

If we didn't have to worry about needs and consider your statement to be true, we all know who "he" would have been if we would have chosen a WR first.

Either way, I'm just ready for some football

Are you suggesting wide receiver was not a big need going into free agency and the draft?

And seeing as how multiple players on offense Kyle either clamored for and were directly recruit by him, I would say it's safe to say that Kyle has enough clout within the organization to get whoever he wants(see: Joe Williams). He could have brought in your suggested "body type" receiver; he didn't.

I hear Jon Baldwin is available. He's 6'4" and 220 lbs.

No worries mate, pass on Baldwin... Just be patient. We will find him.

The last piece of our puzzle is to organically grow our own Wide Receivers.
