Keep Armstead. Get rid of Buckner.

Trade 25 picks and 10 1st rounders for Trey Lance. Pass on Mac Jones.

Enough said. It speaks for itself.

Dude would've traded Aaron Donald if he had him. Get this clown outta SF NOW!!!

I agree he would.
Okay this was our defensive roster yesterday.

S-career backup Wilson (no one heard of this dude before he got here) and 5th rd Hufanga
DBs-Mosely/Kirkpatrick/Norman/K Williams/DJ.

You can't tell me that's not one of the worst secondaries in football SF spent to draft picks on CB and both are inactive over those losers??

LBers-Warner (playing like junk) Al-Shaair/Marcell Harris

Warner has been awful this yr and the other two are UDFAs one switching from S to LBer overall junk.

DL-AA/Bosa/Key/Street/DJ/Willis/Ebukam

They waived Kerr who was really one of their only space eaters. Ebukam is a waste of space and has no idea how to pass rush. Bosa is literally the only guy that's consistent with pressure. AA is a jack of all trades and a master of none. All the other names are backup talents AT BEST.

I mean who the f**k looks at this personnel and thinks it's a good defensive roster?

Lynch and player/pro personnel need to be fired.
AA is fantastic inside. problem is when we don't have BOTH DJ and AA inside, we cannot stop the run as the other guys are too light. AA can't play every down and seeing as he is a great interior rusher, we need him for passing downs. Team needs another big DT next season, Ideally someone who can two-gap, but at least someone who can hold his on vs a double team and keep our LB's clean

Any big man without a f**king knee problem will be a great start!!!!!!!

Right on NY. totally agree. GM hasn't put enough talent on the field on D or on the O line.

Kyle?
He is very involved and he hired Lynch.

AA unfortunately is not fantastic inside and it showed a lot yesterday. Dude tires out too easily and then becomes a lame duck. There were a few plays yesterday that really pissed me off with his crap hustle. Mainly in the 4th

And how did we get here NY?

Thinking that this team was just a few players short of the 2019 SB team when it absolutely is not 2019. The entire league has moved on, we obviously have not.

And don't just stop at defense. Ask yourself how nearly the ENTIRE 2021 draft class was a healthy scratch midway into the season. What kind of personnel management is that?

49er problems are deeper than one position group. It's personnel management period, from injury/health assessment, to drafting, to player development once here. I'm starting to think Saleh took all the good position coaches with him. How else do you explain Tom f**king Compton making this team AND starting over better looking Jaylon Moore? Even worse we have a 2nd round pick OL at guard, one of the easiest spots that transitions from college to NFL, a healthy scratch if playing we could use Brunskill at a position he's actually pretty good - RT - instead of force fit at RG.

Until the front office is completely revamped with a GM that can stand up to both Marathe and Shanahan, manage personnel and trust the scouts over position coaches when it comes to personnel, things won't change.

But this post brings a tear to my eye, seeing how far the ship has sunk from a personnel standpoint.

AA is not fantastic inside. there was a reason they moved him to DE.

The bold has me quite frustrated. If Lance does not become a franchise QB this is the kind of draft that sinks a franchise for a decade. So far the Niners have Mitchell from this draft. Admittedly Mitchell looks fantastic, but the only contributor from this draft is a sixth round running back. That is incredibly disheartening.

The roster decisions this season have been baffling. The win/loss record is kind of a secondary concern to me over the players they're actually putting on the field. Compton over Moore? Kirkpatrick over Thomas or Lenoir? Why play aging vets who probably should not even be in the league over younger players who are likely just as good or marginally worse?
I think it's time to fire Lynch and see what Adam Peter's can do.
I wonder how much of Warner's problems are because Greenlaw has been out. He has to do more to cover for him.

A lot I feel, also a lack of quality D-Line hurts too
