The San Francisco 49ers have reportedly signed defensive end Jah Joyner, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2. The team hosted Joyner for a visit on Wednesday.
The Las Vegas Raiders signed Joyner as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota following the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent the 2025 preseason with the Raiders before being waived in August ahead of the regular season.
The Dallas Renegades of the UFL drafted Joyner in January 2026, but he was released on March 19. The Houston Gamblers then claimed him on March 20.
In his final two seasons at Minnesota, Joyner recorded 12 sacks while totaling 50 tackles and 13 tackles for loss, according to Sports Reference.
The 49ers will play their preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday at Allegiant Stadium.
