Bruh....

And yet he sought the help of Kirk Warner to fix them. hmmmm

That's sad. He basically said f**k you to Warner. After he couldn't retain what Warner was trying to instill in him to help him out.

The mechanics work must be continuous in the course of your career. Its needed hundreds of repetitions to acquire muscular memory

Sounds like too little too late for Kaep.

I wonder if those guys in Arizona have actually helped anyone.
I can't remember which injuries were in what games, weren't they all towards the end of his playing time?

Come on, man.

Torn labrum? No big deal. Can't posibly affect play.

Torn ligament in his throwing hand thumb? Who needs a thumb to throw?

Knee injury? Who needs knees?

All these excuses!

By this premise, he's also a dumbass for not telling the coaches that he can't play adequately with these injuries, but tried to play through them and ended up looking like s**t on the field. A grown up that can't voice his injuries until he got benched. How stupid is this...

The problem is the coordenation between footwork torso and release.
A QB might work these issues separately but after he need more work to put them together.

People must understand no matter the amount of talent you have, solely is not enough.

You need a constant full body of work

Some people can't be help.

No one can help a person who don't want to help himself

I agree. Maybe he thought the work in TC every year is enough. They do work on some of that.

You act as if he was forced to go work on his mechanics with Warner. Obviously he thought it would benefit him or he wouldnt have sought out help.

I'm trying to say that he doesn't want IT enough.
He doesn't have the compromise to put his heart soul and mind on football.

The great ones live/lived breathe/breathed football and enjoyed the process, Kap does not have IT.

And IT stands for INTANGIBLES

Right, running for his f**king life and NOTHING to do with his lapse in mechanics. You thought an offseason was all it took to change your muscle memory? Mechanics are fine when you have TIME. When you do not and are on the run you will revert back to what your natural throwing motion is.

You guys are all over the place. First, he doesn't care about hi mechanics...he went to see Warner. Now it's an FU to Warner because he couldn't stick to what he learned when he was running for his life.

He tried to lay through his injuries probably thinking he would get benched. He was playing for his job.

But lets stop playing games. If Kaep said "Hey, look, I'm injured, I can't play...sit me"..... How would you react? You have already gone on record saying that his injuries were not serious and didn't affect his play. How would you and the others who ctiticize Kaep constantly have taken Kaep "giving up"? Guy would have gotten fried no matter what. And this goes back to my point. There is nothing Kaep can do besides channel the 2nd coming of Joe Montana to escape even a tiny bit of criticism from the "you know who" of criticizers.
I thought this was a trade value thread. I don't know what was offered by whom but I wouldn't trade Kap for anything less than a second seeing what the QB market looks like now and I'd settle for CLE third as well perhaps. DEN can start Sanchez all they want but shy of their second Kap stays here and we pay him. I don't want to hear about how he poisons the locker room and how he's not buying in and yada yada. It makes zero difference because if he loses camp to Blaine or doesn't show he is but an afterthought anyway. Like Polian said I would not trade Kap for pennies simply because there's zero benefit to us. Kap can't hurt this team any more than his poor play on the field. He can't hurt us financially or otherwise. Kap's best play right now is to insist on getting what we're paying him from us or another team. If he takes a pay cut in a trade and still sucks he's lost money he'll never see again in his career. If he is stuck here he's guaranteed another $11.9M over his career and he has an opportunity to play with a coach that just got Sam Bradford another $35 million. Think about that. Why the hell would he take a pay cut right now just to leave SF?

I want TB to hold firm on his demands and just keep Kap if they aren't met. That's our best play
