If you were to go through highlights of Wilson making plays that BobS says Kap cannot do, I doubt you'll find many of them, if any.

And I use WILSON, because he's played in two SBs off the backs of great Ds.

He has a lifetime quarterback rating over 100, he is more than pulling his weight. He is only riding the defense in the eyes of Kap fans who think degrading any QB not named Kaepernick makes their hero better, it does not. Please don't tell me Kap fans don't do any unfair ripping on other teams QBs it is done right above and many other times. First Russell Wilson is a better athlete than Kaepernick, he has pocket presence and good lateral movement. The difference between the two is when Wilson scrabbles he still reads well and the whole field remains in play, while Kaepernick only reads half the field at most and has a habit of locking on receivers which leads to defensive backs jumping routes. Wilson has developed nicely, Kaepernick is just as flawed as he was in 2011, plain and simple.

Funny how Kaep and Wilson had similar numbers a couple years ago. Man, Wilson would have been crapped on if he played here, especially with some of the poor playoff games. Is Russ a better QB than Kaep? Yes he is, but with Russ I see a guy that plays on a team that caters to his strengths instead of trying to make him play a certain way which is why Carroll is regarded as one of the best doing it. Defenses exposed both players flaws, Wilson worked hard and corrected his while adding new weapons, at the same time Kaepernick was collecting shoes, posing naked, flipping tires and scamming on teammate's girlfriends. So one actually gets better and more efficient the other's efficiency goes down the drain. Funny you blame coaching, yes Harbaugh has a horrible reputation as a coach (sarcasm). He had a real hard time getting a job after leaving SF(sarcasm). Oddly the Michigan QB had the best bowl game ever for a Wolverine under Harbaugh, but he messed up Kap in the eyes of the Kap fan.

Crabtree wasn't held on that play. You're thinking SB. And the comparison was made in the context of evaluating a player, any player, based on one game. Specifically the 2012 game against NE. Kap played great in that game. But show me the complete game he played in 2014 or 2015.

Wilson has different weakness than Kaep. If I remember right, Wilson played in a pro style offense in college so he has a head start in that area compare to Kaep. I don't know that Wilson can read defenses consistently. But I know his other weakness, he's too short to see downfield. He gets a better view when he scramble out.

One is height challenge, the other stuck in sandlot mentality. It's like the special Olympic of qbs

Wilson has other area of his game to compensate for his weakness. He's really good at keeping his eyes downfield to find his guys while scrambling and has a knack for making guys miss to buy more time.

Kaep has a laser to help him compensate for his late read. But I don't think just having straight line speed can help in the passing game, when he's not particularly quick.

CK aint going nowhere and will take a giant deuce on the naysayers head this year. Book it.

Bradford is getting $18M per year. Osweiler is going to get a minimum of $15M per year, likely more. Neither of these players have played in a playoff game.

Kap's contract is a huge asset. Very affordable for any starting QB in the league.

No playoff wins

Those guys didn't get benched last year. No GM will pay for what a player did 2-3 years ago, with another team. Bradford, to the Eagles, played well for them last year. Osweiler got off the bench and play well for the Broncos.

Kaep's play was so deflating, that they had to turn to a 2nd year on the team, bust label qb to attempt to salvage the season. Kaep still need to prove to his potential team that he still has the confidence enough to play like a starter. And he's currently on injured rehab. He's not in the best of light for trade or contract value right now. No matter how much the Niners or his agent wants to spin his current situation.
