Those are 6-7 great plays. Awesome to see. It just sucks that he can't make the average plays with any sort of consistency.

Go watch SF @ NE from 2012.

I have seen the game. Great game. Go watch the 2013 NFCCG. That play to Crabtree ... Meanwhile if he just recognized coverage he could have hit QP on the other side for a wide open completion. If not a TD then to within the 5 ... Believe me, we wouldn't be here if Kap consistently played like he did against NE. Then again Matt Flynn would be an All Pro if he could match the one game where he threw 5 TDs. He's out of the league now ... And I wouldn't be surprised if Kap wasn't too far behind.

You, me, and everyone else already knows this.

Far from sandlot football......

So you ignored everything else I wrote and looked at the last line. Thanks man!

Them stats are fantastic. So what were his stats from outside the pocket?

deceiving stat. wussle is not a drop back passer. "from within the pocket". that play up above against the vikings is considered "in the pocket". so are a lot of the scrambles he makes. he doesn't drop back and throw tight passes into coverage. he creates time with his legs until he throws to guys who are insanely open. credit to him for doing it but lets not pretend he is a pocket passer in the traditional sense of hitting the 3rd step while analyzing the defense and then completing the pass in coverage. he is not that QB and will never be that qb.

exactly. Wilson does it with a horrible line and a mediocre receiving group. Kap can't hold wilsons jock. we haven't had a a qb put up those type of numbers around here since Jeff Garcia in the early 2000's.

Wilson has a superior team in every phase. The point is he plays sandlot football.

Funny how Kaep and Wilson had similar numbers a couple years ago. Man, Wilson would have been crapped on if he played here, especially with some of the poor playoff games. Is Russ a better QB than Kaep? Yes he is, but with Russ I see a guy that plays on a team that caters to his strengths instead of trying to make him play a certain way which is why Carroll is regarded as one of the best doing it. He thinks outside the box.

So does Kaep stay? What will be the likely outcome going forward? #LessDramaMoreMusic

He's out of the tackle box in that gif. That is not in the pocket.

You don't have to pretend anything. Wilson has been staying in the pocket more and he is improving.

If you think that all he does is run around in circles and find an open receiver then you obviously didn't watch many of his games last season.

But don't take my word for it......

The play where Crabtree was held?

Comparing Kaep to Flynn? You guys are ridiculous.
