F all the bickering he's goneeeeeee. Everything's ok. We can finally start drafting some promising qbs that give a sh*t about mechanics.
He isn't gone. He is just the backup for now. No way Gabbert lasts 8 games. Mark my words, Kap will get one more shot this year to prove he can do it. 2, 3, 4 games from now. Kap will be back under center.
LOL Kap will let Gabbert take the heat for the Seahawks and Cardinals game. Then will look like a hero vs. the Bears and Browns.![]()
Was thinking this exact thing. I wonder if the coach knows we are losing no matter what these next couple weeks so now is the time to make the move eh? There's so many scenarios to why they benched kap IMO
Either dudes GONE they r over him and he's being traded or cut at the end of the year
Or they still believe in him and are wanting to give him some time to get his groove back and watch from the sidelines to get his fire back.
Or like kohole said might be wanting to do a let gabbert take the fall for these next weeks, Let kap come back on our easy part of the schedule? Squeak out some wins, gain confidence and in the offseason say "we really started picking up momentum at the end of the season, things are heading in the right direction" And then we still move forward with broken cap
I don't think this benching means anything about kap being gone until its a done deal.
