Also there's no guarantee if we kept those future first round picks that we would've got an impact player at pick 28 and 29. However that pick number 12 most likely hurt us more.

Funny how we take cerebral QBs able to audible or call TOs and turn them into puppets whenever a play doesn't go right.

Maybe we should stop being hindsight captains, pretending as if we should easily be able to predict season-changing injuries?

We can be upset about injuries and STILL not pretend like we're injury and playcalling experts based on past events. Give me some clue on future events if this is the card we're going to play. I mean I'll have no choice but to buy in.

I don't think Trey fits in SF/Kyle at all, but I agree. Conditional 2nd is a joke. Conditional 1st maybe (depending what the conditions are). I might go for two 2nds if it's a bad enough team.

I think a 2nd is the best we could get personally and that's not from a Trey hater. I just don't see why a team would by high on a stock that hasn't done much of anything but has potential.

Potential is all that draft picks are. At least with Trey teams have seen that the game isn't too big for him to handle. He's just not the best fit in SF. If a team's offense has a good amount of RPO, Trey is a great prospect for that.

It really has turned into a huge embarrassment, how to completely waste three first round draft picks... there is a huge backstory as to how this came to be that probably won't be known for many years until all the key actors are no longer on the scene.
