Eh I think he's referring to "Significant improvement", I don't think a very good player can have significant improvement. I view it as You have to initially be bad-average to significantly improve. Idk what someone like mahommes can do to significantly improve how he plays the position. It's more than just stats.

I totally disagree with this. Mahomes significantly improved from his first year starting to his 2nd, if you are speaking non-stat related how he plays the position. He said he didn't know how to read a defense at all in his first year, and since then has learned how to do it. Justin Jefferson has significantly improved his game since his rookie year, and he was a 1400 yard receiver then.
I don't buy that you have to be bad or not adequate to be able to significantly improve.
